Very friendly staff, and great atmosphere, we just wanted something low key and a lot less work than a formal restaurant and this was it. It seems very popular with the locals, with lots of options for Pizzas and burgers, I had a Tuna Carpacio salad which was huge.. lovely..

You need a car to find this place but it's totally worth it. A neighbourhood pizza shop that serves really reasonable and fabulous food. Pizzas around â¬6 and a great bottle of proseco for less than that. It's out in the burbs with not much else around bit well worth the effort -fab service and awesome food.

If you are driving from Gossetto to Rome or viceversa and would like some good meat or pizza in an honest Tuscan trattoria, La Scafarda in Alberese, might be the right place for you. The owner and the staff are curtious and friendly. The menu is mostly of local recipes (great pesto anchovies) The pasta is good, a bit too "watery" the pici al cacio e pepe (cheese & pepper). The highlight is the Fiorentina steaks, filet or veal. Pleasant local wines (Morellino )Before or after your meal, try to visit the Park a few km from Alberese: it's one of the nicest pine tree wood on a beachfront in Tuscany.

Once more we had a great dinner at Mon Amour. The place has been revamped and refreshed as well. The owners are always trying new things so there's always something new to discover. Tonight it was wild boar hamburgers. Loved it! remember, everything here is made fresh, nothing is frozen apart from some of the desserts which they don't all make themselves. In the middle of nowhere and you walk into a remnant of the 1980s in terms of decor, but in a nostalgic way, not old and tatty. Pasta and bread home made, local meat, veggies from their allotment. Small portions; heavy on the salt. Tortelli maremmi and fettuccine were very good; the meat probably too, but the sauce in which it came was too salty for us. Paltry portions of roast potatoes and veggies. Family run, children welcome.

Enjoyed a couple of our Sicilian favourite dishes at this restaurant. Started off with ragu filled arancini which was extremely filling but good (glad we only ordered one!) The pasta alla Norma to follow was delicious. Appreciated the complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal. Thanks many many .... welcome

Called in for a opulent of drinks and a pizza. Staff were good and advised on drinks. The cocktails were so cheap we stayed longer than anticipated. Good local crowd in.Hello, thank you very much for your review and for your visit to our pub. good life
