Il Mangiapane has been another place that we love visiting every time when in Italy. They serve very good and authentic Toscanean-style dishes in an absolutely relaxed area. It is an ideal for families as well as couples. The waiters speak, besides Italian, also English and French.

small local family. It offers typical Maremma dishes, pasta and homemade desserts.
My wife and I had no Italian, and the waitress had some English, but she went out of her way to translate the menu. The food and wine was great..typical local food, and large servings so we were able to try several dishes and share. Really enjoyed the homy atmosphere with many locals having their night out...thoroughly recommend if in Grosseto. The complimentary "grappa" to finish a memorable night was appreciated.

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was! I was expecting an upscale burger joint, but it was more towards the fine dining end of the scale. But without the prices to match! Great ambience and fantastic food. The best meal we have had in Italy in four weeks of travel. Bravo!

Really, five stars are not enough. The beauty of the surroundings as you gaze at the magnificent 4,000 year old wall are matched by the incredible flavor of the cuisine. The restaurant is out in the country, but easy to find adjacent to the Etruscan ruins. And a welcoming glass of Prosecco is a nice way to begin a stroll through the menu which was all reasonableTry the house antipasti, 5 delicious items on one plate, each totally unexpected and delicious. My wife and I normally share an appetizer, but not this night and we both cleaned our plates. My wife had the ravioli with pears and I had the pasta with caramelized onions, both were hand made, cooked perfectly al dente and each sauce had a richness and depth of flavor. For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse with strawberry sauce. WOW says it all!The wine list is mostly of the Maremma and reasonably priced, with detailed descriptions. Both the inside dinning room and the outside covered deck are lovely spaces. The grounds surrounding the restaurant are also lovely. This will be a return again and again restaurant.

Ristorante di cucina tipica maremmana.
it is difficult to find so I have attached some photos from what is possible to see from the street where there is no mention of the restaurant only Podere MnSTIAIO.The starters were fantastic and kept coming, we then chose a tris for primi which gave us a choice of 3 of their vast selection of fresh pastas, i was full but still managed to eat the tagliata, which was probably the best quality meat I have ever had with a gorgonzola and nut sauce, desserts were too much but we had coffee, water and a bottle of their excellent house wine.Compliments to the waiter (good luck with your baby) and the chef who passed regularly by to ensure everyone was happyStunned to pay only 59 euro

We have been coming to Gli Attortellati for the past three years, loving the rustic setting, swift service and surprise prix fixe menu (we always order the two course menu, offering three antipasti + the famous tortelli pasta)This is authentic Maremma home cooking at its best!

Per essere sicuri di trovare un tavolo libero e' consigliata la Prenotazione... Grazie e a presto :)
A very pleasant spacious wine cellar dining space. They have an English menu with an English speaking lady stewardess. Service is slow and not attentive. She forgot to serve our wine!! and had to be reminded. Pici cooked with cacio n pepe was limp and soft, the fillet of beef with porcini was a large serving but a great disappointment in taste.hello, we are very disapointing that we coudnt pleasure your dinner .i ask my self some questions ....abouth the fillet i must to tell that we have the best meat and the best fillet on the market.Pici that you have tryed are home made, made one by one and are the originaly recipe .About the wine..in that moment you wait some more minutes only because we had to change the bottle of wine that we have on the machine that keeps the wine at a regular temperature.Maybe when we asked you if everything was ok, i would like to have the pleasure to have a small confesation and to explain not to write here . have a nice day

After one week holiday in South Tirol,we spent on week in the farm of Barbara & Renzo in the countryside of Grosseto. What should I say? We had a really nice week, the food, which has been handmade each day, was wonderful too!The dinner has been served for all guests at a long table and we had nice evenings with the other guests. One day we invited some friends of us and we ordered a separate table - no problem for Barbara. Also the whole staff from the farm was very very friendly!many thanks Olly! We hope to see you again!
