Also known as Brunswick, Braunschweig is, at about 250,000 people, the largest city between Hannover and Berlin. This place is an oasis in the middle of a concrete business park. Parking seems to be limited because so many parking spots are reserved for the surrounding businesses. The inside seating looked very comfortable, but we sat outside and enjoyed the sunny day. The outdoor seating is large and has many tables in the sun or in the shade, depending on what is desired. The service was very professional and attentive, although not overly friendly. The food was so so so delicious! I thought that my lamb dish with eggplant puree had beef filet instead of lamb because the meat was so tender and juicy. The appetizers were also wonderful. I really enjoyed the Imam dish and the spiced and cooked sheep's cheese. Best turkish food I have ever tasted!

This is a very nice restaurant with decor including photos of scenes from Afghanistan and its peoples. On warmer days it is nice to sit outside in the garden at the back to eat and drink. Vegetarian dishes are just as tasty as those containing meat (often veal). For the spicier dishes, always more fragrant than aggressively sharp, I find it best to accompany the meal with a yoghurt-based drink like Dogh rather than alcoholic drinks, which are not traditional in Afghanistan. We often take our guests to eat here in the evenings. A full menu to try everything for four people costs less than ⬠50 in total. There is a wide range of flavors to savor here, and the deserts are a dream, something like a terra-cotta with rose water, cardamon and pistachio for instance.

Simple but effective. Lots of choice between hot dishes like wraps, couscous dishes, soup, then salad, good variety and all ready within minutes. It's incredibly cheap, I got about 800ml of lentil soup and a foot long falafel wrap (tailored to my taste by making it mild) for 5.50â¬! Incredible! Some of the food (soup) is heated with the microwave, but I have no problem with that and it tasted great. You couldn't notice any grease, garlic or other means some places use to make something taste stronger with little effort. It just tastes like its components, which was lovely. And all vegan!! I was very pleased with it.
