Read the reviews on tripadvisor and went for it. A train ride and a walk later we arrived at opening on a Friday at 16 pm without a reservation. The waiter fixed a table although it seemed to be sold out. Very good service and nice personell. Well above average food. We had burgers. Maybe the mexican stuff was even better. We were completely satisfied though. Thanx!!

Im Restaurant "El Gaucho" kann man gut essen. Es gibt leckere Steakgerichte. Auch die Cocktails schmecken gut. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. An warmen Tagen kann man auch drauÃen sitzen.

La paz is definetely a very good choice for a not very fancy mexican dinner together with some coctails. Very convenient position along Kastanienallee, it wont blow your mind away, but wont let you down either. Along the traditional mex stuff, loved also the burger...
