Altre volte ho assaggiato anche primi che sono buoni e la carne idem. Un saluto dalla signora della pizza quattro formaggi!

Fussy place full of seemingly underemployed waiters. One puts parmesan on your table the other one removes it and so on and on. The vegetable soup was far from being authentically italian. It might have even contained soup powder. The pasta we ordered was quite cold, looked like it was taken from deep freeze and boiled for too short a time. The restaurant is located at the Best Western hotel of Campogalliano and it seems to be frequented by the contained audience of the motel.Reading his review I noticed much superficiality . The cheese goes put the need and taken away when finished . The vegetable is cooked at low temperature to preserve the freshness and crispiness . The pasta is homemade by my family . Next time I'll show you the production .... being a restaurant inside un'albergo , I'm not surprised that there were hotel guests, do not you think ? ! ?

Tipical local food, re-visited, made with passion and self grown erbs, right on the back of the restaurant; they use only selected ingredients from the area; chef is amazing, just ask about him and he will show you the erbs garden.service is excellent, they speak some English and atmosphere is warm and elegant. It's right on the lake, you can enjoy the sunset. Perfect for relaxing dinner in a quite area with really good food.

We organized my daughter's birthday party here with a bunch of her friends and their families. The establishment is nice though unassuming. The lawn was not cut despite the good weather we had for a few days but there are nice and open areas where kids can run and play with pros who can attend to their needs. The beauty of this place is their well deserved AGRITURISMO classification thanks to the bio produce they offer both for snacks and for dinner, that is either real farm-to-table or coming from a trusted network of bio farmers.Their "gnocco", their salame and their fruit pies (quince and apricot) were to die for.Of course drinks were just fruit juices or water so if you are looking for cokes or any other commercial drinks that are not fresh, you are not gonna find them here. After the nice party that all the kids loved, we stayed for dinner and although I must say my opinion was not shared by all other guests, I was not impressed. The appetizer buffet was very good though, with vegetables, salami and various types of salads. As far as the pasta dishes were concerned, they kind of tried, IMHO unsuccessfully, to interpret some milestones of our traditional cuisine in a bio/whole grain way. Tortellini with broth made out of whole grain doughs caught off balance all the guests with mixed reactions. The filling was very good but the broth and the whole grain pasta did not convince us.The tagliatelle, again whole grain, with a bolognese ragù reinterpreted in a light version, did not convince the guests as well. The asparagus risotto was unfortunately raw with no salt whatsoeverMain dishes were pork loin and rabbit with roasted potatoes. All goodDesserts were the highest point of the dinner with an outstanding orange pie.The service was good and everyone was kind and amicable. All in all a nice afternoon/night although not unforgettable

This restaurant, located inside the Arceto Castle, should be rated 3 Star Michelin and is definitely worth a visit when visiting the Emilia-Romagna region. The menu changes with the seasons, so you will find a wide variety of dishes from duck (anatra) and quail (guaglia) to Agnus beef, veal (vitello) and fish, such as tuna and sea bass (branzino), as well as traditional dishes such as risotto and pasta. The appetizers are creative and varied, and quite large (recommend to share one), priced from €12 to €16. I had the Soufflè di Parmigiano Reggiano, (baked egg and parmigiano cheese, pear, honey, and Balsamic). The meal starts with fine baked breads and gnocco, and a small tasting of the house special soup. Main courses are very reasonably priced, from €14 to €20. The wine list is quite substantial, specializing in small wineries throughout Italy. We ordered an exquisite 2007 Amarone, one of their younger wines on their list. For 45€ you wouldn't find that in the USA for under $200 (if you could find it). The service is exceptional, very kind and attentive wait staff. The dining area is quaint and romantic, although I would suggest lowering the lights (emphasized lighting tends to be common throughout restaurants in Italy). And there is nice smooth jazz music playing in the background. In summer there is outdoor seating. Dessert, I can't comment on, because we were too full to order it. However, the waiter brought us a plate of small varied desserts, (gratis), and it was just the right amount to end a perfect meal. In total, the bill was under €100 for 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, a fine bottle of wine, bottled water, and service charge. Quite reasonable!

Located near the main square of the village this pizzeria offers classic local dishes with a twist. Tables are set in an elegant, yet casual way and service is fast and efficient. We shared an antipasto of giardiniera and affettati, which was delicious, followed by a calzone and a pizza. We drank a bottle of local wine and everything was perfect.

We came here for a relaxed Sunday lunch with friends and found La Locanda di Sant' Agata to be a simple jewel in this quiet part of Emilia-Romagna. The menu and wine list both had interesting versions of familiar classics: the pasta was fresh, transparent and excellent; the grilled items came exactly as ordered and were fairly priced; several interesting Lambruscos and other local wines were on offer up against some recognisable national symbols. Service was very accommodating and we had to make room for the charming desserts - as good on the eye as they were for the palate. If you're in the area I'd recommend a visit. If you're not, I'd recommend you come anyway!

It is not close to popular tourist destinations, but this an excellent little restaurant, specialized in local (Emilia ROmagna cuisine) pasta dishes, beef dishes (they buy the best Italian beef, making it arrive from various Italian Regions, renowned for traditional breeds: Piedmont, Marche, ROmagna, etc.). Sweets and desserts are also very good; my friends who drink wine tell me that also the wine list is particular and worth the visit, but I don't drink (wine gives me headache) so I could't say anything based on direct experience. Also the dining rooms are very beautiful: the restaurant is located inside a very old tower that was a change horse station along the Via Emilia (the old Roman road). In summer it is possible to dine alfresco on the large terrace.
