I tried Giusto Spirito following the strong recommandations of some friends... I have to say that the pizza is just wonderful: well cooked, not too thin, tasty and with very good ingredients. Let alone the price... there's NO cover charge (almost impossible to find in Italy!). With one of the most expensive (and delicious) pizza, the "Fuori Napoli" and a Coca Cola, you end up spending 9 Euros!!!The location is always crowded, but service is good, smiley and friendly young people.Definitely to go for!

We went to try this on our first day in Rubiera and we came back twice... Excellent starters with a sweet crudo and a very good salame. We tried the chef's suggestion, ravioli al radicchio rosso, and it was to die for: delicate, excellent flavour, one of the best I had in years. The steaks are perfect, the lamb cutlets are delicious.Forget the wine: go for the semi sweet Lambrusco, it will make your day!

This was a suggestion from a local friend, and it was worth visiting. Some km away from Modena, in an old secluded mill, beautiful place. Home made high quality local food, everything we tasted was enjoyable, with a special mention to the many chocolate deserts. Nice attention by Carlo, made us feel confortable. It is not close to popular tourist destinations, but this an excellent little restaurant, specialized in local (Emilia ROmagna cuisine) pasta dishes, beef dishes (they buy the best Italian beef, making it arrive from various Italian Regions, renowned for traditional breeds: Piedmont, Marche, ROmagna, etc.). Sweets and desserts are also very good; my friends who drink wine tell me that also the wine list is particular and worth the visit, but I don't drink (wine gives me headache) so I could't say anything based on direct experience. Also the dining rooms are very beautiful: the restaurant is located inside a very old tower that was a change horse station along the Via Emilia (the old Roman road). In summer it is possible to dine alfresco on the large terrace.

Piccolo locale con piacevole distesa estiva all'esterno, posizionato nel parcheggio dell'ex Mercatone Uno, proprio di fronte al cinema Emiro. Vasta scelta di piadine, crescioni e rotoli, salati e dolci. Buona qualità , prezzi non proprio economici. La piada migliore in zona, paragonabile a quella del territorio romagnolo intorno a Cervia. Niente di surgelato ma impasto steso, farcito e cotto al momento. Sosta perfetta per mangiare qualcosa prima o dopo il cinema.

I gave a try to this place once more after a couple of years.Great location and very nice premises indeed - perfect for a business dinner.Service = average quality.Food = OK (honestly I would expect something better in the food valley of Emilia Romagna...).Pricing = well - for what they offer right now from my point of view completely OVERPRICED. I suggest this place for a date or for a business lunch / dinner - to impress the guests (especially foreigners...).If you are a local fellow and you wonna have a great lunch / dinner, I suggest to skip it!living with the 'old fat' indeed still here!

Service is amazing and friendly but not invasive. Food offer is quite wide and all I have tried was great. A supring fusion of modern and traditional homemade cooking of Emilia territories. Great for event friend or romantic dinner. I wouldn't miss at all if I'll be around again there.

We have found this small place from Trip Advisor and we are very very happy with it! It is just not easy to find this small shop under apartments, we did several U turns to find it, so it is more convenient to park your car (if there is any) to the parking lots at the main square -just 50m from this shop- and walk 1-2 mins. There are only 2 tables outside and pizzas are really delicious and authentic. Strongly advice, maybe your best pizza in life!!

The restaurant was adjacent to our hotel so it made for easy dining after a long day of traveling. We had high hopes for our meal when a starter consisting of chunk of parmesan cheese drizzled with balsamic vinegar arrived. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our meal. Food was under seasoned and simply bland. Non sono amante della carne ma quando è eccezionale ne approfitto. Abbiamo iniziato io con la tartare di chianina e salame gustosissimo e i miei commensali con i quattro antipasti. Poi siamo passati ai secondi io stinco di maiale nero, gli altri braciole sempre di maiale nero, un enorme spiedino con tre pezzi di chianina, tagliata arrostita al punto giusto e una grigliata di altri tempi. Lambrusco eccezionale e ripasso Domini Veneti, Grappino e caffè. Prezzo molto buono per la qualità della carne.
