Era un pranzo di cresima. Il tempo non era propizio e non abbiamo potuto godere della bellezza del luogo per cui mi riprometto di tornare. Anche perché la cucina era manifestamente genuina perché a km. 0,001: era per lo più frutto del pollaio e dell'orto di casa. Ci hanno servito persone che potevano essere una zia, un cugino o comunque persone della nostra famiglia di un tempo passato: un tuffo nelle atmosfere che non esistono più

We were there several times during our stay in one of the surrounding B&B's. They serve real Italian food cooked with love and of an excellent quality. They use a variety of local products. Off course you can drink the open wine, but ask the waiter for advice and choose one of there very good wines by the glass of a bottle (take any leftovers home). Prices are reasonable and you can sit outside on lovely evenings. Most guests are Italian.

This little restaurant, tucked away between two alleys in the old town of Verona, not far from the river Adige, is a gem. The service was prompt and friendly, the food good if not spectacular. As well as the courtyard/alleyway where we ate on a warm summers night, there is a beautiful dining room inside, which would be perfect for winter dining.

The restaurant was fully booked, mainly tourists. But that did not spoil the cosy atmosphere. The menu was wonderful. It is rather a trip reaching the restaurant, but worth the trip. We stayed for the night in Gli Orzali; check out our review as well.

Incredibile poter scrivere di aver mangiato meglio di un ristorante cinghiale in salmì fiori di zucca fritti tagliatelle al Castagno con zucchine e funghi e ravioli di ricotta fresca con cinghiale pazzesco pasta fatta in casa Buonissima, le paste â¬8 il secondo anche no vabbè avrei voluto portare qualcosa anche a casa da asporto Da quanto era buono porzioni abbondanti Se capitate dal di qui comunque prendete la pasta fresca che eccezionale à un piccolo alimentari dove sul dietro sono un po' di posti per mangiare. We found this place on the off-chance while hunting for somewhere to eat on Saturday. We had seen signs for it along the road, but had no idea what it was like. What a treasure it is! The decor of the place is cosy, welcoming and warm, and the fixed-price four-course menu at â¬27 (excluding drinks) is outstanding value for money. The food was superb: we were served an antipasto, two primi piatti (a soup and a pasta), a buffet selection of FOUR meats (beef, pork, lamb and pigeon) with a selection of vegetables PLUS (if you were still hungry!) a selection of help-yourself cakes, tarts, fruit and nuts, followed by coffee and liqueurs. Great service too. We absolutely loved the place. But don't tell anyone.... let's keep this little secret just to ourselves, eh?!

sabato sono andata per il compleanno di mia sorella siamo rimaste incantate dal posto meraviglioso, pranzo dire buono e poco , le bruschette, i ravioli alla ricotta e le tagliatelle al ragù , divine, la carne fatta in maniera impeccabile per non parlare della crema al mascarpone con la frutta, tutto buonissimo ci torneremo presto anche per soggiornare

Much talked about, they are famous for their dishes with truffles and fresh mushrooms in the autumn. The problem is that the old cook retired and the new cook just throws truffles on anything! We went with friends and they brought out bruschette : usually you get a variety of different bruschette. While we did, they were not anything special.Nothing that we haven't seen anywhere else only heavier: too much cheese, etc. While the grigliata mista was average (its hard to ruin that), the pasta was disappointing: for example, the noodles with meat ragu had lots of cream in it and truffles! talk about overdoing it! While it was not a horrible experience (it is rustic cooking after all), it certainly did not merit all the claim it gets and I would have rather had a panino.
