Restaurant & Cafe Zehntscheuer

Next to Schloss Homburg is this small restaurant with an Italian chef. Dishes are European, but the combi of good meat and fish main courses with pizzas is great for bringing your kids too. Everybody happy. Next to the very friendly service, the food and wine were excellent. The restaurant is a little bit outside of Nümbrecht and only open for dinner in the weekend, but it is well worth going to it.

Quattro Stagioni

After a heartwarming welcome we were brought to our table, which was located in a sober yet cozy and tastefully decorated room. The menu offers a wide variety of pasta, fish, meat and pizza dishes. Service at the table was very friendly and correct. Three of us took the Tagliatelli Rindfleisch, which we all found very tasty. The very kind owner offered us a free Schnapps after we finished eating. Excellent value for money and highly recommended!

Hotel Boxberg

Reviewed By anhowa

Gerne wieder!

Bauernschaenke Broeleck

Reviewed By Babsie59

After 2.5 hours walk in the beautiful countryside around Bröleck, Ruppichteroth, we went for lunch in Bauernschänke on Easter Monday. It was absolutely packed and we were asked whether we had booked a table which we had not. They accommodated us anyway and were very kind. We got very good, down to Earth food. The salad was excellent and I cannot understand why you would complain about it (see review further down). Some of us had a Schnitzel which was huge and good with fried potatoes and one of us had a Fladenbrot. Latter is very big, even the small one and should only be eaten if you are really hungry. We enjoyed the stay very much. Bauernschänke is not the place for a posh evening out but a good place for decent food after a long walk with muddy boots on your feet. They also have outside seating. Inside is very quaint but certainly not everybody's taste - far from contemporary. Yes, this is the right place for active, hungry, walking people, bikers, and cyclists.
