The High Pavement

I booked a table a few weeks in advance as they only open on Fridays and Saturdays. This is a Moroccan style restaurant serving interesting food and specialties. Usually the menu that changes weekly includes starters and mains, but only tapas were available this time. However we thoroughly enjoyed the evening, especially as we had a table in the pretty courtyard garden. The staff lead by Aimee are very attentive and will talk you through the menu. They offer an extensive drinks menu and you can only pay by cash.

One of the nicer places to eat in Frome. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The food is reasonably priced and good quality. The service is usually very good. The atmosphere downstairs is much nicer than upstairs and the wine and cocktails are nice. It’s a great place to come as a family and the tables are spacious. It’s not amazing but it’s certainly consistently very nice. Have been many times over the years as a couple or with my kids. Have tried the pizzas, lots of pasta dishes and the steak. All very good except the steak is very fatty and chewy if you have it rare, it’s only nice as a medium so I no longer order it as I like my steak still breathing. Would recommend this restaurant.
