We read the good reviews on TA and were within walking distance so we tried this restaurant. The owner is very hospitable and a real Italian cook. The experience began very well as he insisted we wouldn't sit down until the table cloth was changed. Great. Unfortunately the new tablecloth didn't look especially clean eiter. I wasn't sure about the glasses but ordered wine anyway. The chef constantly apologized because the staff wasn't trained properly yet. My wine came in a cold glass and was chilled itself. All no problem except that it was RED wine which shouldn't be cold. I am a vegetarian so ordered the 4 cheeze tortellini. My husband ordered penne gorgonzola. I have to say the penne wasn't bad at all but wasn't what you would expect from an italian restaurant. I can make it the same with a Come a c*sa package. Also the portion was extremely small for the price for Thai standards. Turned out that my tortelloni had meat inside so didn't eat it but traded plates with my husband. We didn't say anything because I figured I was wrong to assume that 4 cheeze tortelloni would be vegetarian. Still it left me feeling disappointed. My husband said the taste was ok but again nothing special. Toilet was a mess according to him. Didn't see for myself though. We just paid and left. The chef apologized again for something I didn't really understand. Maybe we caught the place at a bad time right after newyear. At least for us it was not a four/five star experience.

This place would have gotten a five-star review if they had been playing Italian music or something that actually fits with the whole Italian restaurant theme instead of having a TV on the wall with disco/club music. The food was excellent, though. I just don't understand how a place like this would get that one piece of the restaurant puzzle wrong. Sad.

This restaurant is at the Intercontinental hotel resort. Walk down the stairs through the harder for a wonderful outdoor evening experience. The fish dinner was perfectly prepared. This restaurants surely offers an authentic Italian dish without a doubt. Chef greet the customers and gives some good recommendations and even do dish thatâs out of the menu. Scallopina in Melanise style was absolutely delicious. Mediterranean Salad was a mixture of everything I can ask for a salad. Panna cotta was tempting enough to make me have another one. The team was extremely helpful,very attentive and friendly the entire time. The music was lovely. Some time ago I gave a mixed review to Le Caprice which criticised the food. I am delighted to say that there has been a wonderful improvement. The pre-diiner drinks are first class and served with complimentary amuse gueules.The menu is very well judged, created by cooking of the highest quality and very delicious.The restaurant- always beautiful - looked pristine and sharp. Thibault and Morc, along with the other members of staff, were charming and attentive.To this cynical diner, the whole experience was a treat. First time in El Greco,been literally blown away by the whole experience. The food is outstanding! Quality,perfectly cooked,huge in portions and beautifully presented. The Kleftiko was amazing,the pasta with lamb,perfectly cooked,big chunks of tender,juicy lambs and a five stars "sugo"! All the food you see in the pics costed me just a thousand baht including 3 bottles of water and ice. This is unmatchable value for my money considering the quantity and the quality of every dish we ate. Starters and desserts on the house!! How cool is that? Very nice,friendly staff and owner is worth mentioning,comfortable sitting,felt at home. I will be a regular now.Thank you very much Andrea.

This place serves up great Italian food with a big dose of Italian hospitality. The pizza is awesome - the best I have had so far in Pattaya. The pasta is great and so are the main dishes. Nice atmosphere and great staff. I will keep coming back!
