If you're adventurous and willing to try local exotic dishes then this is for you. Guinea pig 'Cuy' is a local dish. Can be prepared many ways. This is the place to try it. It's slow roasted. Takes an hour so it's good to call ahead and reserve. It's seasoned nicely. The restaurant is cozy with nice artifacts on the wall. Service was great.

The Zircus Lounge and Restaurant in the 360 Hotel is superb. Great breakfast buffet that offers a good range of fruits, juices, cereals, eggs, and traditional Ecuadorian fare and it varies day to day. Brunch and dinners are delicious and won't break the bank. I thoroughly enjoyed their paper thin slices of veal with fresh veggies. The staff speaks very good English, which they seemed to prefer while we tried to increase our Spanish. We enjoyed their food and services so much that we ate there rather than the hotel where we were staying. Will definitely go back there when we return to Cuenca next year.

Stopped here for lunch while visiting the old city and ate an enjoyable outdoor lunch: soup, salad, an entree and a cervesa - all for about $6. The seating inside looked pleasant for colder days. If you get hungry while strolling through Cuenca, this was a quite, affordable, friendly place to recharge.

The steak was superb, cooked just right (med rare). Generous portion. Olives on the salad was interesting! Plancha de pollo was also very good (the one without sauce). This place is highly known for it's Cui, don't think I'll get there. Reservations are a must. We were lucky to get a table, we arrived at 6:30pm just as they opened.

Three of us went here today to celebrate a friends birthday. From the moment we entered the staff was so friendly. Our food was amazing. We especially liked the Quinoa Soup and the Quinoa with Portobello mushrooms. It came with chicken on the side. pedimos disculpas por no responder antes, pero agradecemos su visita y nos motiva el saber que les gusto nuestro servicio, les esperamos en una próxima ocasión.

The lunch set at Moliendo was delicious, filling and at $2.50 was an incredible bargain. They also have dinner menus priced at $3.50, which we did not try. The owner was very friendly and courteous. The salsa on the table was spicy bit very flavorful! A great place to sample colombian fare!

Excellent grilled salmon, fried pork ribs, seabass following well-made cocktails and octopus as our appetizer. Our chocolate desserts were exceptional. We enjoyed the food so much that we asked the waiter to give our compliments to the chef. Instead the waiter actually brought the chef to our table to receive our heartfelt compliments. We sat at a window table with a river view.
