Unexpectedly relaxing wonderful atmosphere with a delicious taste and presentation. Staff are smiling and courteous. I am Asian and Asian taste for a real Japanese ambience is quite difficult to find, but here a total sushi experience is great!

Kome Japanese Restaurant

We liked this place with great choice of traditional Japanese dishes like sushi, sashimi and much of raw seafood. Service was prompt and friendly. However, the chef turned to be a big fan of mango, and fresh mango fruit, mango dressing are everywhere - in carpaccio, rolls, salads, etc.

Yuzuya La Cucina Giapponese e di Casa

Yuzuya, japanese restaurant managed by japanese owners and chef, is the first of its kind in Bologna, and let people taste the true japanese cuisine.

Visited this Japanese restaurant randomly and so pleased with it. Their service is great and the food is authentic and good. I was worrying about not able to read the menu in Italian and surprised to see Japanese writing in the menu too. The staffs are also very helpful with giving suggestions. They offered complimentary Japanese plum wine and a canapé. Both are delicious. The miso soup is full of flavour and with good ingredients in it. Goyza are not like many Japanese restaurants using the frozen ones. All are surprisingly good. I ordered their cold noodles as well and enjoyed it a lot. Their dessert of the day is a very traditional red bean dessert with rice cakes (mochi) in it. Overall, it’s a great meal and a very good surprise found in Bologna. I’d recommend people book a table instead of just walking in because this place is very popular. Getting a table can be a challenge.

Ristorante Megu

..simple location for informal dinner..it represents an ideal solution to taste a widely range of dishes coming from different Far-East cuisines..I strongly recommend to book in advance if you are a large group and go there only if you are really hungry, such as after a training in the gym..for that reason it's crucial to select the "all you can eat" menu where you can select a wide range of dishes but not "sashimi"..but you are really interested on eating only Japanese food I suggest you to change local..the personnel is very well prepared and kind and the service is good..I suggest to taste all dishes based on fish..you could face some problems on finding parking space near the local because it's very close to a roundabout and the only way to reach this restaurant is by walking, but only few steps are required..
