Typical Italian place, »accessible to all«. Several rooms in different styles. Nice terrace.The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful, speak English. Service is good. Wide choice of excellent food (meet, fish, pasta, pizza), great desserts and very good house wine. Free parking on site.Really interesting place and not expensive.

One of the best meals weâve ever eaten in Italy. We enjoyed a very flavoursome Caprese Salad for Starters and a Vegetable Pizza for main with a nice Chianti. Nothing short of exceptional food quality! The service was very friendly, fast and welcoming too. Lots of locals inside (a good sign). Great for people watching. Saw and elderly couple that looked like theyâd be coming for years! Best pizza outside of Naples, without a shadow of a doubt! Recommended! 5 stars!

We went here with a business party for dinner. Food is very good, the tasting menu a little overwhelming in quantity, albeit very good quality. Atmosphere is very pleasant, service absolutely professional and friendly. Very nice welcome and after an Italian explanation of the handwritten menu, the cook came from the kitchen to give an English explanation. The food is prepared with a great eye for detail and tastes very good. Little surprises completed the dinner. The place is well decorated and for sure worth a visit.

Not much to look at from the outside but full of charm inside. The owner welcomed us in and was passionate in his explanation of all the dishes. Service with a smile, freshly cooked pasta, authentic local food and wine. Pasta dishes â¬9.50-â¬12.50, meat courses a little more. Great value and quality - but get there early as booking is difficult and it fills up fast!

I am a 100% Bolognese guy currently living in Amsterdam.This restaurant is my favourite choice (after grandma's home of course) when i go back to my hometown.Amazing 'primi' (please go for tortelloni or passatelli) and main courses (love Horse 'straccetti').Desserts (go for Zuppa Inglese) are simply delicious.Atmosphere is great, not formal, you feel at home. Staff is very kind and polite.Bill in the average for Bologna (pasta+main course+dessert+house wine and coffee) around 25/30 euros/person.

We booked through The Fork. Really good traditional restaurant, well appointed service, good atmosphere. You may be confused about the location: a little bit hidden close to a small channel in the countryside of a a suburban location. This is a winter oriented space, many wooden pieces of furniture, ancient style. Pasta is really something, any way. Meat is precious. The very super gem of the venue is GELATO MANTECATO with balsamic vinegar. Try it!!!Dear Customer we are very grateful for such a precise and positive review. Concerning the location it is indeed a bit hidden, but thatâs one of the beauties of our place. A small corner of the XIX century Bologna, when the city was full of waterways and the conductors of trade barges were stopping buy to have their lunch in our establishment. Thatâs is also why wooden décor is dominant. Many customers (luckily) enjoy the whole also during summer. We have a cute veranda or cool rooms inside. We hope to see you again soon.

Nice old house, parking outside, close to the airport. Good service and cosy atmosphere. Food style is quite modern, not rusticò at all, as the old house might suggest. Seafood risotto was good, so was ombrino. Chocolate fondants was an interpretation, could have been warmer. Good experience overall.

Totally unexpected find in what is typically a fairly dreary place. Borgo Panigale is home to Ducati but not known for great food. I found a warm welcome despite my limited Italian. As others have said no menus but the dishes all sound great. I had fantastic spaghetti and then a chocolate tart just because it looked great too!. Tucked away down a side street it's well worth the effort to find.

Nearly in the countryside, not easy to find, and much harder to get a table if not reserved many days in advance. Once there, you're hit by the noise and confusion. Resist, and start with the exceptional selection of hors d'oeuvre, the great bruschetta with tomatoes, served as default. Desserts also very good. Dishes are generous and prices low for Bologna's standard. 25-35 for a full dinner.
