Our company consisted of two hungry adults, and two choosy kids aged 4 and 7. The menu contains both pizzas and regular grill dishes, so it should be easy to find something for most tastes. Before deciding, we ordered beer and soda, and also had 2 garlic bread. Note that 1 garlic bread means 5-6 bread in a small basket with tsatsiki. We had the burger, which was fine but pretty boring. Then the plate of chicken filet with fried vegetables, potato wedges and curry yoghurt, which that was good with lots of flavour and not as tiny portion as I usually get in this category of restaurants. Not verk special though. The kids of course had pizza, vesuvio and hawaii, which they got in kids sizes. They thought it was 'super-good', and we adults stole a bit of the pizzas because they looked and smelled delicious. Even If we were too full to eat more than a small slice, they were really tasty. The location is a bit off the center square, but the restaurant is nice enough, a bit nicer than a regular pizza shop.

We stopped here along the way to Stockholm. We were two families with 6 children aged 2 to 8. Pizza was really good and staff super friendly.

I am an American that has recently moved to Linkoping for my girlfriend who is from here. I love restaurants and have eaten at most places in the area close to the centrum. All places were good and I have nothing bad to say but the prices are sometimes high like 160 kroner for a burger and fries and unfortunately the burgers are not like in the states considering they only come well done here. We found this place close the train station in a nice area so we gave it a shot thinking we would have something different. Nice change from other places. The menu was what I am used to in finer dining establishments. I travel often and am lucky when it comes to my expenses providing me the opportunity to eat at very nice restaurants and hotels with exceptional food in many places and this place was up there with the best. Our waiter was top notch, friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel important. He was a Portuguese guy that gave the vibe of someone you would see in a Bond movie smiling as he was serious to make sure we were comfortable. There was a very nice waitress with a cool personality who also came by to make sure we were happy. Food was great. I had lamb and my girlfriend had ox-file. Both came with really nice grilled veggies and it was great. You can tell the quality and what went into it. Some places are good but are missing something but not here. I wouldn't have changed anything. The chef knows what he is doing for sure. The presentation was impressive and the atmosphere was warm. Kind of made us forget we were in Sweden. The desserts had the serious hmmmmm factor. I am quite sure my girlfriend would leave me for guy making them. I am a tiramisu junkie and this was the best I have had for a long time. The other people eating were all nicely dressed with bottles of wine on the table and the overall environment is very classy. My girlfriend who's brother is a chef is cool but usually will point out one thing that could have been better wherever we go. Not here which was nice. I am looking forward to going back soon. This will be our weekend reward restaurant. Totally recommend it.

Located in the middle of Vallastaden, I expect most visitors to be locals. The prices are reasonable, the food is firmly and purely Italian, and the interior is going for a modern style with a touch of Scandinavia. Didn't try the wine, but the pizza from the wooden oven was one of the top 3 in Linköping.

På 1854 serverar vi italiensk mat enligt den gamla skolan. Grejen är att vi gör det på ett enkelt sätt. Menyn är full av svåra ord som antipasti, primi, secondi och dolci, men hos oss går det lika bra att strunta i allt vad tradition heter. Du kan blanda

We made reservations on a very busy night as high school graduation parties were taking place all across town. We ordered cocktails and really liked the Rhubarb cocktail. It ended up being the highlight of the meal! We tried the artichoke appetizer which was interesting and worth ordering again. The caprese appetizer was bland and lacking in every way.We ordered 2 pasta dishes, bolognese and carbonara. The bolognese was sweet and the consistency of the meat was stringy and unappetizing. The carbonara was so far from any version i have ever had that I don't thing they should call it such! It was salty and oily.We ordered a rhubarb and strawberry dessert that was to be accompanied by a rhubarb sauce on the side. Luckily we tasted the sauce before pouring it over the dessert!The sauce was actually chili infused oil! When we called the server over and asked her what it was supposed to be she confirmed it was rhubarb sauce. We handed her a spoon and asked her to taste it and her eyes got wide and she took off to see the chef. She cam back with a replacement sauce and said someone had mislabeled the bottle!I hope others didn't pour it over their dessert and think that is what it was meant to be!We ended with a glass of their home made limoncello which was really disappointing. Probably better to just buy in some quality limencello from Sorrento considering what they charge for it!

Well, it's simple and short: By far best pizzas in town. We have been here (and tke-out) several times and lived in Linkoping for over 30 years so lots of pizza eaten over the years :-) These are outstandingly best.We have not tried the other (non-pizza) food but suspcte it is great too. So friendly and personal staff/owners.Eat in. take-out, just go!
