With a great atmosphere, this wine bar in Daejeon provides a relaxing place to gather with friends for wine and drinks. The owner/manager recommended a splendid 2013 red wine from California (La Cuadrilla), and backed it up with a lovely cheese and fruit plate. It may not be for those on a tight budget, but for people looking for a great place to enjoy wine and the company of friends, this is the one of the best places in Daejeon by far.
Raracost is a chain restaurant in Korea. Despite being a chain, we enjoyed the food very much. The restaurant offers great view of Noeun being on 2nd floor. We tried pasta, pizza, pilaf and salad. All were really tasty. Menu has both English and Korean descriptions. When the pizza came out, it had some brown sauce on top which our kids didn't like. The waiting staffs speak very little English but they took it back and gave us a new pizza for free. The restaurant offers self service soft drinks and coffee, which already included in the price.
