Went there with my wife for my second visit. I enjoyed the pumpkin cream soup. The lightly breaded fried shrimp dish was delicious! Pizza was good They have a decent wine selection. They have a small kids menu. Great service in a cozy family run environment. I would definitely go back and would recommend this restaurant to others.

Da der Küchenchef aus Sardinien stammt gibt es Speisen mit sardischen Akzenten, war ganz ok. Von den sardischen Weinen auf der Karte waren die meisten nicht verfügbar.

Italian light mediterranean cusine, that will dance on your tongue.Food variety is immense and thus any palpit will be decently served.Ingredients are fresh and of highest standards.Interpretation of Italian dishes eg vitello tonato is brilliant and beautifully presented.Such mastery cannot come cheap, and so, Koch's is the top restaurant in Kusel at the top end of prices as well.Its very well attended, so good idea to place reservations.And... parking is a nightmare...

Italian restaurant which also does a few assorted German style schnitzels. Inside is typically old fashioned German decor but comfortable enough. I ate here a number of times and the food was good overall and good value. I was fortunate to experience a warm sunny evening here so sat in their outside area in the central square enjoying a beer and pizza unfortunately you have to share this area with the numerous, stinking smokers! Overall a good average Italian restaurant, worth a visit.

Our family of six ate here recently. We arrived around 8:30 p.m. Despite the slightly later hour, we were welcomed and ordered drinks, appetizers and main courses. Everything was delicious and made freshly to order. We were not rushed. People in our party had appetizers including bruschetta, soups and salads. For the main course there were orders of pizza, pasta and schnitzel. It was an enjoyable evening of wonderful home cooked food at an extremely reasonable price.The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant. The building is attractive. I would definitely recommend this and hope to come back next time I'm in Germany.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, has the right atmosphere and centrally located in the historical centre of the town. The owner is very charming and kind. The menu offers a wide variety of items. One of my table companions asked for a change to his pasta dish, which wasn't a problem at all. I ordered tagliatelle with salmon in a white wine tomato sauce. The sauce was very nice, but the tagliatelle was overcooked and the salmon was almost tasteless.

not a lot open in off season and we ended up in this little italian near the Idar-Oberstein museum for dinner. Pizza was good and the home made pasta was fabulous. Large portions. Would recommend highly.

I went twice to this restaurant. It is small and cozy. Reasonably priced especially for the daily special. I enjoyed the vegetarian pizza, with a salad one time, and tried the eggplant dish as well. Both meals were very good, and the service was very friendly.

I've been there twice and have had the Schnitzel Bolognaise and loved it! I'll go back and probably get this meal again or maybe a pizza. The restaurant is very small, so expect limited seating. It's also a bit pricey, but I did feel that the food was worth it.Like I said, I'll definitely go back, so I guess that's a good enough review!
