This was our first visit since the recent refit and what we thought what could not be improved is even better now. Lovely, comfortable and well laid out. Service is exemplary and the food is fresh, well cooked and seasoned and very tasty. Gluten free options abound and staff are very helpful, attentive and unobtrusive.

How can an Italian chef not cook lasagna? We ordered two scampi and chip and one lasagna and to be fair it was disgusting, the lasagna looked like a bowl of porridge and tasted awful, and the scampi was under cooked. Terrible food we wonât be returning.

Called here for a breakfast whilst on the way for a day out in Blackpool. Found this establishment on TripAdvisor. Ordered a 'full monty' which consists of egg, black pudding. Spam, hash brown, fried bread, three sausage, three bacon, mushrooms, beans and two slices of toast. All for the princely sum of a fiver, excellent value. My only slight complaint would be that I would rather have paid a little more and had better quality sausages, everything else was fine. The cafe is set within a fishery, lovely location and plenty of wildlife about. The service was friendly and excellent.
