Was stopping by Preston for business and decided to have a look for somewhere to have a nice dinner. This place is definitely hit the spot, ambience is nice, homely and friendly staff. Most importantly the food was nice, I ordered the sea bass. The cheese cake was a bit too soft for my like felt like it was melting. Apart from was lovely!

I live a minuteâs walk from Oliverâs and have been meaning to try it for ages but this was my first visit and Iâm pretty sure it wonât be the last!My friends and I were looking for something relaxed and low key and Oliverâs was perfect. When you walk in there is a really warm, cosy feel and it smells delicious! Itâs not at all fancy but itâs clean and tidy and we felt at home straight away. The food was delicious. My friend said the albondigas were the best heâd ever had and he used to live in Spain so heâs sampled a fair few! The mushrooms were lovely too and served with a generous amount of bread for mopping up! The pizzas were really good too and we followed them up with ice-cream. Can highly recommend the toasted coconut! We brought our own wine and the bill came to £54 for three courses each for three people. It felt like amazing value! I also loved the music - some Brazilian favourites that I usually only hear at home!! Will definitely be back soon!

An absolute delightful place to eat.Fantastic food cooked to perfection and served by the most friendly staff you could wish for.We were only staying for one night in Lytham and this was a gem.If we lived closer we would use regularly.Well recommended.

Just chose to visit after passing by and we werenât let down. Nice inviting atmosphere by both the host and barman/waiter. The burrata cheese starter, although the most expensive starter, is understandably so since the flavour and texture was amazing. Even the waiter strike up a conversation over how he enjoys it as-well, you donât get that friendliness in many places. Felt just like Italy. Everyone chose to have pasta dishes which were all to different tastes and done to a very high standard. Very talented team of Italian chefs behind the scenes. Will definitely be returning.

This is probably our 8th meal at Ego, Lytham. Staff are very friendly. Cocktails, 2 for 1, were delish. We had the Cosmopolitan, Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri. Mains were yummy altho I would say my son's medium steak was more rare than it should have been but he still enjoyed it. I had the Lemon Chicken Milanese which was lovely. Pudding was Sticky Toffee for 5 of us and Brownie for my daughter. All were amazing. And a 25% discount makes it even better. Cannot recommend this place enough. Visited whilst staying at the Spa. Greeted by âIsabellaâ who was particularly fantastic ( very friendly & knowledgable about what I could eat given my food intolerances). All the staff were very welcoming and we will definitely be coming again . Suitable for everyone, families, friends and couples. The menu is extensive, catering well for Gluten Free. They have the best Gluten free pizzas I have ever tasted!!Wow, what a fantastic review, thank you.Our teams work hard to ensure all our guests have an enjoyable experience and it is always nice when this is acknowledged. Fantastically cooked food and served with flair but small portions don't necessarily equate with a good experience. If you are hungry either go for the pasta dish (Mrs Lyon adored hers) or go elsewhere. Why chefs (and management) think if you serve minsicule amounts it means class is beyond me. Lytham is in Lancashire the home of hot pot and black pudding -we like food and lots of it. Some of the touches - skilled as they might be - are straight out of bygone masterchef and don't necessarily blend together. I cant see us going back but would encourage others to make their own mind up. Ps: Mrs Lyon says it deserves 4 stars but hey Im writing the review.Thank you for your review; as an establishment we aim to pride ourselves on fine dining and creating a relaxed environment. Went here for an early evening dinner as a group of 5 family members. The restaurant was almost empty, so we got excellent attention from the two waitresses. We ordered a range of starters to share and then various main courses. The starters arrived promptly and were delicious. Main courses were a good size but not over facing. We finished off with shared deserts. By the time we were ready to leave, the restaurant was filling up and the two waitresses were rushed off their feet. Good value for money.

This was our first visit since the recent refit and what we thought what could not be improved is even better now. Lovely, comfortable and well laid out. Service is exemplary and the food is fresh, well cooked and seasoned and very tasty. Gluten free options abound and staff are very helpful, attentive and unobtrusive.
