Really good spot in Santo Domingo!! Trendy to spaces out terrace and inside we had to sit inside that was a bit quite âcause there were no tables outside , the food nice the Pork belly tacos nice and the tuna tartar really good,as said trendy full of beautiful people and a must place in Santo Domingo and it was a Thursday big night as in the land of the Merengue !!Hello! Very nice. Upscale, but not quite fine dining. Plenty of choices but heavily leaning towards beef. I was surprised at the number of sides and other choices available. Full bar as well.Service was very attentive and complete. Quiet and a nice place for a conversation as well as a meal.

We dined here daily for breakfast during our 10 day stay. Food selections were awesome, but service was not consistent. We enjoyed the spacious dining area, fresh omelette ingredients selections, and the variety of fresh squeezed juices. I especially enjoyed Dominican grilled vegetable and egg dishes. Recommended for a great breakfast!

I am a foodie. I love eating. I love going to new restaurants. But I come back to Mil's time and time again. The service is fantastic. Friendly and professional. And the food is exquisite. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. Everything is good. Some favorites are the short ribs risotto (my mouth is watering just thinking about it), the tuna tartare, and the wood oven baked fonduta which we've ordered almost every time we go. I've described that melted cheese dish as tasting like Christmas. The truffle fries aren't on the menu but order them. And the gin and tonics with spices are served in a goblet and rounds out the whole delicious meal. My husband and I have weekly date nights. Don't be surprised to see us spending it at Mila's. We've tried other places and literally always end up back here. If you're in Santo Domingo - do not miss this place.

While Santo Domingo has many new great restaitants, El Meson de la Cava is perhaps one of the oldest that has evolved and improved over decades. It is actually situated in a natural cave, now accessible with an elevator. Good Service from pleasant waiters and good local and international food is on the menu. Above the cave they have built a beaurifil grill with live musiv and dancing floor. I prefer dining in the cave.

Went twice to this place during my short stay at the JW Marriott in Santo Domingo and will go back. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and they also carry a decent wine selection to satisfy everyone. Try the Coconut Pina Colada for dessert! Absolutely delicious.
