I had to escape the rain and went for lunch to Café Sahne. I ordered a salad and I'm glad I did. It was nice with lots of greens and tuna. Tasted good. People seemed to enjoy to wait the tables. The interior is a little bit old fashioned.

Das Restaurant und 3-Sterne-Hotel liegt an der viel befahrenen VerbindungsstraÃe von Bocholt zum dazugehörigen Industriepark. Direkt am Restaurant liegt auch das Heimathaus. Die Einrichtung entspricht dem, was man von Steakhäusern offenbar erwartet: rustikal und recht dunkel. Die Speisekarte ist auch typisch mit Balkangerichten, Schnitzel und Steak. Dazu gibt's auch noch Fisch - Die Karte ist lang. Die Preise liegen im normalen Rahmen. Wenn es stimmt, was der Inhaber auf der Internetseite sagt (argentinisches Biofleisch) ist der Preisrahmen bei Steaks eher niedrig. Wir waren einmal anlässlich einer Beerdigung dort (der Friedhof liegt gegenüber) und einmal zum Essen. Die Qualität ist ok, das Personal nett und es schmeckt gut. Was will man mehr?Es gibt übrigens direkt an der StraÃe einen Biergarten und hinten einen gröÃeren Saal für Veranstaltungen.

Wonderful Food and Service when we ate at the Restaurant in September.Would Highly recommend it to everyone. Very reasonable as well. The food was deicious, hot and the portions were very good, thank you !!

This very cold but partially sunny first Pentecost we landed, after a walk through this nice cosy little town, on the terrace of Rheincafe Rosen. There were quite some people what means in generally good food and drinks. We ordered a tomato soup 5/5, a Raspberry chocolate cake 5/5, a rhubarb cake with cream 5/5 and a hot chocolate drink with cream 4/5. I had a short talk with the chief and believe all dishes will be fine here due to the passion shown by this chief cook as well as the many local visitors who know to find this place! The service is friendly and efficient. In forthcoming occasions we will certainly coming back again.

Run by Croats this restaurant offers excellent food from the Balkan area. The schnitzels are great and so is the fish. The staff/owners are very friendly and service is prompt. Stopping for a good meal is always a good choice. Many Dutch travellers (the border is only ten minutes away) ave discovered this gem and enjoy the food, too. The restaurant has a covered biergarten so you can also enjoy your meal in the annex.

Decided to eat here since we were staying in the hotel. First class service from an attentive owner.Food quality was very good and the owner suggested we try a local red German wine with our meal. It was more expensive than the usual carafe wine but I must admit it was a pleasant surprise being a very drinkable light red.Each of our party had a three course dinner but none of us were able to finish due to the enormous portions. The restaurant was busy with local people which is usually a good sign and we all felt it was good value.
