The restaurant is located at the View Mall in Salmiyah, very tiny restaurant near the back entrance of M & S, they have another branch in Hawally Rihab Complex. Started on 2013 by a Kuwait chef who travelled to Japan to learn how to master the Japanese curry. The menu is basic with few plates all look a like. As recommended I tried the Meme's Monster which is basically a delicious bowl of Japanese rice , curry, breaded chicken and mozzarella cheese topping. The service is very poor and one should order delivery/take away to avoid the unprofessional staff. Caution the menu offer how spicy your curry from mild as the lowest to death as the spiciest ; mine was mild (least spicy) but equaled medium spicy in other places. Recommended for take away only

I had a Hyderabadi lunch at Ashaâs Boulevard â Salmiya. Ashaâs Boulevard has a Lakefront View. The Terrace Seating has a lake view. The interior is stunning. This place is spacious. My table was over looking the lake. Ashaâs is celebrating 15 years with a special menu. I had Hyderabadi mirchi ka salan from the special menu with vegetable biryani. This is usually served with a bowl full of chilled (raita) yogurt with cumin, on the side. I had Backwater coconut & lime drink with lime wedges, ginger slices garnished with mint leaves. My main lunch and my drink were flavorful. Mirchi ka salan or curried chili peppers, is chili and peanut curry of Hyderabad. The salan was velvety and tasty, it is cooked with chilies, cashews, ginger, and coconut, infused with tamarind and jaggery finished with a generous size of eggplant and green chilies. The eggplant was gooey and juicy. The green chili takes you to the next level of flavor. By the way, Jaggery is a traditional cane sugar consumed in Asia and Africa. Jaggery can sweeten your food in a healthy manner, and provide good amounts of minerals. The salan was not spicy or fiery; it was mild and little sweet. I am not an expert of sweets, but I cannot miss one ball of Gulab jamun as a treat. I have to enjoy their amazing and the best in the city, Gulab jamun. Gulab jamun is a spongy milky ball soaked in rose scented syrup, dipped in a creamy puree, and garnished with aromatic mint leave. The interior is beautiful with dominant colors of royal purple and turquoise. The sofas are velvety purple tapestry. The hanging lights were very oriental. The service was average and staff were intrusive. My waiter was hovering around needlessly. He was presenting me with fiery green chilies with my food, and I not Indian. I could not eat it because I am not use to it. I was surprised that the garbage collector was on sight in the terrace while diners were present (SEE his photo). I though it is more courteous to remove garbage or trash, away from the sight of diners. SEE photos.

I used to visit Copper chimney in Worli, Mumbai with my parents around 30 to 35 years back. The most thrilling part of this restaurant back then was that it was a fine dining with kitchen visible and the chef juggling with roomali roti. It was quite a show. 30 years later I come across this restaurant which obviously grown as a chain on kuwait of all the places with same concept. It was such a pleasant surprise with same visible kitchen concept and chef doing acrobats with roomali roti. The food was outstanding. Kali dal , tandoor items, butter chicken and obviously the breads. A must visit if you want to enjoy really good Indian food in Kuwait

Overall an average experience till I received the dessert on the recommendation of the staff. The "Orange Peel Kulfi" considered the favorite among the locals was really a treat. A must recommend from me if you happen to visit there anytime.

After being regular visitors to this restaurant and our lunch here today, we have concluded that Calicut Live canât work under pressure! While the food is great (taste, presentation, quantity included), the service needs a huge step up. While being served meals today, my wife casually told me to ask more of one of my fav parts of the dish and on overhearing this, our cheeky waiter told us that more will be given if we asked and we shouldnât waste food! :D The irony is that the same waiter seemed to be dropping half the food serving to the floor and our laps .!All things aside, please concentrate on your Customer Service!

Had oppurtunity to try out the new menu at Asha's @ Bouleward.Tried out Komdi Vade, thick coconut gravy chicken curry with Puri.
