This was the Indian food I had been expecting when I first moved here from Glasgow 20 years ago but had so far failed to find. Fresh, wholesome, tasty. The menu was really varied. Unusual in that not everything was drowned in a sauce of some description. The service was great, the selection of beers and non alcoholic drinks really good- I recommend the ginger and apple soda. I donât know what took me so long to discover this little gem, but I am mighty glad I did. My new go to place in Leeds.

Firstly cannot fault the food it was really good. Couple things let it down. We weren't aware it was not licenced so ordered cokes but at £2.50 each was bit steep for cola from a bottle but suppose that's how they make money. I ordered a special of shimla and was brought shalimar. I didn't query at time as thought I'd misheard waiter but when I started eating it I wondered where the green beans were. I know I could have sent back bit then would have meant eating after others had finished. It was however tasty just not what I ordered. So I still have no idea how a shimla would taste. May have to try a Take Away next time.

Great southern Indian food. Fragrant with plenty of coconut. Far from your average "Indian" restaurant fare.Both mains we had were excellent.The staff were attentive without being pushy.The only slight criticism would be that the poppadoms were a little soft and stale.

First time at Mango despite hearing many recommendations. Food is totally fresh and cooked to order - you can tell the difference. probably the best Indian restaurant I have been to in the area. I felt is was marginally more expensive than the competition but definitely well worth it. Masala dosa - felt like being back in india...

Quiet Tuesday night only a few tables occupied early doors. With a mate who is a fan and not disappointed, very flavoursome curries and not just the usual on offer. Only spoiler the salt balance was just on the limit with everything, no wonder the beers went down so well!

Lovely to see this popular restaurant deservedly busy. Everything was well organised and we were soon seated enjoying our popadoms. Some establishments would find being busy a problem,but not here. Lots of helpful friendly staff,the food was excellent,which is why it is so popular.
