In Britain every small town will have as many Indian restaurants as Chinese. In Canada more Chinese and not too many good Indian eating places. This is one, however. Pleasant ambiance and friendly service. We went for lunch and enjoyed a great special with Chicken Jalfrezi and Vegetable Korma together with basamati rice, naan bread all well garnished for 13 dollars. The menu which I looked through is extensive and includes Tandoori items cooked in their own Tandoori oven.

This little Indian restaurant features daily lunch specials along with their regular lunch/dinner menu. I tried a lunch special combo, that included Daal (Vegetarian Lentil Dish), Beef Masala, Naan, Rice, Salad and your choice of a can of Soft Drink. You can choose mild, medium, medium/hot and hot. The dishes were all quite tasty. The Naan was fresh, as was the Rice. The Salad was basically just Iceberg Lettuce with dressing. It was more of a garnish. I enjoyed the Daal and the Beef Masala dishes. The daily special was priced well. Service was very personable and the food was served quite fast after ordering.

This is an awesome little store. We have had the Butter Chicken Poutine. It is fabulous. They only serve it Saturdays between 11am and 3pm. That's a shame. Saw the poutine advertised one day driving into Duncan. It piqued my interest. So I tried it. WOW! Lots of chicken, beautifully done french fries, and lots of sauce. So every Saturday this is my evening meal. I'm now also, during the week, working my way through their chicken and lamb East Indian menu. They make up frozen entrees. Chicken and lamb Vindaloo (very tasty) and a host of other East Indian dishes. Stop into this hidden gem and experience some of the best food you'll ever taste.
