There are only two Indian restaurants in Bujumbura and Taj is popular for its special taste and its convenient location in the town. Its also very close to Village Hotel which is quite popular among tourists to Bujumbura. The managers are very friendly and ready to help the clients. In all a good Indian restaurant.

This place is so Amazing with all private dining cabanas set admist a beautiful garden all outdoor dining. Their service and food is impeccable, cant complain. The Pork Ribs we had was so tender & Juicy yummmm, a grill restaurant not to be missed.We thank you for your valuable feedback on our services and we do look forward to having you back again.

i love having my indian curry , garlic bread , fresh salad and cold beer in big garden quiet afternoon in Tandoor restaurant .service is little bit slow but hey you are in Africa ..its been more a year since i left Bujumbura but i still remember the Tandoor and delicious food .

I was staying at the Kiriri Garden Hotel, and the restaurant was part of the establishment. I ate two dinners and all of my breakfasts here during a five day stay. The breakfasts were more than sufficient with wonderful fresh fruit, and eggs made to order. The lunch and dinner menu is a mix of standard fare, along with pizza with a mix of Indian dishes. I had the lamb one night and it was good. Another night a got a selection of appetizers and they were all very good.I wish I could have stayed longer to try more of the menu. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
