Only recently heard about this restaurant and decided to try the take away option. All I can say is wow! The food is superb! We ordered Afghani Chicken which was amazing,Tikka Masala was so full of flavour, although I personally would have liked it to be a bit spicier. Maybe they could add extra spice upon request. The Balochi chicken was also a great hit with my family. We also got Tadka Dhaal which my daughter loved too. The Rice and Garlic Naan were really tasty too! I would have no hesitation recommending this restaurant and we will definitely be back.

Had a lovely meal here before. It was during the week so not very busy which suited us actually. Starter of onion bhaji always a winner with me and my main course of tikka masala very tasty. My dessert of carrot cake though was not quite like what I imagined. It was a good end to the meal for me. But that's only because they make carrot cake differently. I hope to return again for delicious starters and mains.

5. Bombay Pantry - Bray

I decided to try Bombay Pantry this evening even though the last time I got a take away from here the standards had dropped. Unfortunately the standards have not improved. I ordered for Collection the Bombay pantry Curry with basmati rice ( my usual, from when I used to order every few weeks). The rice was hard and tasted horrible which is no surprise as when I was waiting for my meal I noticed that all the rice is prepackaged and stored in oven for god knows how long. The curry was tasteless and the quality of the chicken is not the same as it used to be. Bombay pantry is a little more expensive than most takeaways which I used to not mind when the quality of the food was amazing. When I was waiting for my meal Their was an issue for another customer who had to ask if his order was done due to waiting for quiet some time. It turned out the staff had forgotten about his order. It was ready and waiting under the lamps the whole time. If he had not asked he would still be waiting. He was not offered apology and the staff were rude to him when he pointed this out to them. Which resulted in him storming out. This is not good enough. Bad customer service and the food is bland. From my food being not to the standards it used to and what I witnessed this evening I will not order from here again. It is a pity as I used to love this place.
