Zwickau (German pronunciation: [ˈtsvɪkaʊ]; Sorbian (hist.): Šwikawa, Czech Cvikov, is a town in Saxony, Germany, it is the capital of the district of Zwickau. Zwickau is situated in a valley at the foot of the Erzgebirge mountains and is within the Saxon triangle, an area including Leipzig-Halle, Dresden and Chemnitz. The town has approximately 100,000 inhabitants, but has a regional catchment area of over 480,000 people. From 1834 until 1952 Zwickau was the seat of the government of the south-western region of Saxony.

If you don’t speak or read German, I do not recommend that you eat at this restaurant. We learned the hard way that gyros in Zwickau are not the same as in the U.S. or Greece. My husband thought he was ordering basic gyros and requested them “nein zwiebeln” – no onions. Imagine his surprise when he received a pile of gyro meat topped with an equal amount of chopped onions – with no sauce and no pita. When he reminded our waiter he didn’t want onions, the waiter simply removed them to a separate plate – with his hand! I thought I was ordering a deluxe pita with feta cheese, onion, and tomato, but in fact it was some type of gyro casserole topped with melted cheese – also sans pita.
The German menu may make it perfectly clear that these gyros will not have pitas, and in all possibility, what we wanted was available if we had known how to ask for it. But if you need an English translation or assistance, you will have better luck at Brauhaus Brauerei or Non solo pizza y vino.

We visited the Espitas Zwickau because we heared from many people that it should be good and so we decided to find out by our own. We choose the Sunday brunch because the price (12,90 €) sounds great. And the first result we can make after it, it's true! It's worthy to visit Espitas Zwickau for your Sunday Brunch!!! They offer a nice athmosphere and it's also possible to visit with a bigger group.
The meals a good! We liked that during the whole time of the Brunch they offer all and fill up also again everything if it's empty. Not like other high price restaurants who offer at different times, different meals! So if you want to eat lunch at 11 am and breakfast at 2 pm, they give you the choice!
You have a waitress who is there for your table! We had Ramona, very kind and she tried to help us where she could!
They offer a wide range of meals, from western breakfast to typical Mexican food. From sweet to hearty.

I have celebrated my 30th birthday at Egghead and whenever I am in Zwickau,Germany its my number One Restaurant to visit. The food is so fresh and you can see the chef while preparing your lunch/dinner. He pays attention to every detail. The staff is exceptional friendly. The food can take a while - so not recommended if you are in a hurry but other than that a perfect place for a delicious break.

This American restaurant is one of the best choices for family, friends gathering.
The atmosphere is really nice, with comfortable seats, friendly service, and here's the point: great burgers that will definitely satisfy your stomach.
I personally will avoid burgers with patty inside cuz i it is usually too salty for me.
But Mr. Meyers' burger I can totally accept it, and I would like to visit them once more.

Ich würde angesichts der Qualität die Preise definitiv als zu hoch bezeichnen. Mein Roastbeef war zwar medium gebraten, hatte aber nichts mit diesem Stück Fleisch vom Rind zu tun. Die Kartoffelbeilage war stark unterwürzt, dem Fleisch hätte etwas mehr Salz und Pfeffer ebenfalls nicht geschadet.
Alles in allem nicht schlecht, hat jedoch noch stark Luft nach oben.

Good located in the city center, prices are acceptable, but you have to be prepared that you get for a low price, low quality and much lower, unfriendly service. We kindly asked our waitress if she can put one of our empty batterie handy on a charger what we had it with, but she only answered with a short NO and left the table. Salt and pepper must have been asked twice, which must have been an obvious item on a breakfast table. 2 from us arrived at 11:05 and it was really complicated to get 2 scrambled eggs, our waitress needed permission from the kitchen because after 11 o'clock they can only concentrate on lunch, nothing more. We don't intend to return a second time, such a bad service is rare to find in Germany.

We stopped here for a quick lunch during our recent visit to Zwickau. While the place was pretty busy the service was very quick and responsive. Their pizzas are definitely to recommend.

Böhmische Küche mal was Anderes..nicht ganz aber ein schönes Anderes, eigentlich gibt es alles was ein Brauhaus zu bieten hat, rustikalen Charakter, toller Service, allerlei Biere und vor allem gutes Essen, von Rollbraten über Schnitzel, lecker Knödel..also gerne wieder und vil Spaß
