This is our second dinner at La Vague d'Or, we have stayed at the hotel twice and on this occasion we again had dinner at the hotel. We selected the summer tasting menu, full of lots of locally sourced fresh produce. My highly was the tomato course, but all were exceptional, the seafood and meat dishes were great. We also had the paired wine with our meal, their selections were just right. Service five star, venue five star, meal five star....we will return, thank you Chef Arnaud and team (Manou offered excellent service, as always!).

Four for Saturday lunch, limited but excellent daily menu, in a small restaurant that could seat twenty people or so.
Everything is cooked to order, therefore patience is a virtue!
Probably best to come on a weekday, where more menu choices could be available.
Vegetarians beware!

After an impromptu dinner here last night, we were blown away by the whole experience. Everything was perfectly cooked and truly delicious. We had the lobster tagliatelle and fish of the day. The service here is second to none and the extra little touches didn't go unnoticed. The setting takes this place to another level. The prices are very reasonable considering what you are getting here!

We had an octopus salad as starter to share, then a frittata, a calamarata and spaghetti al vongole.
To make it short: it was all very good!
Seafood was fresh, tasty and cooked to the point. Octopus nice to chew, no rubber or leather feeling. Pasta had great texture.
With an espresso we paid 85 euros in a very nice location for superb food and great service - full recommendation.

Open from Easter untill middle of october every year directly on the water front. We start at 8 am in the morning for a nice breakfast overlooking the bay of St Tropez, lunch from 12 untill 15h00 and we start dinner at 19h00 the kitchen closes at 22h30. We also rent sun beds at our beach bar.

I ate here a couple of times and really enjoyed this resturant. There is not much to dislike. The view is superb - right across the bay from St. Tropez. You eat with your toes in the sand while receiving excellent friendly service, cool drinks, and above average food. This place really has the classy beach vibe in a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is mainly fish based and similar to its sister restautant called Le Sun located in the same Prairies de la Mer complex but this place is cheaper. The kids played on the sand while we ate a relaxed dinner. Prices are mid -range. Food a little above average for France where and a little underseasoned for my taste. You can access restaurant from public beach or through the prairies complex. I would strongly recommend this one.

We had a really enjoyable evening with food that was well presented and thought out!
The meals were well balanced in taste and gave way to real experiences on the taste buds. The crushed avocado and crab stater was a real hit for me, as was the grilled fig and goats cheese for my wife.
The Filet mignon of pork with pineapple and crushed potatoes was truly scrumptious, as for the pollock with wasabi mousse, with brown rice hit all the right notes with taste texture and healthy eating.
Wine choices were excellent and coffee was superb, the staff were attentive and very knowledgable of the menu, area and look after you as if you are friends.
A delightful evening had by all!
Try it for yourself and hope you are equally as impressed.

Very efficient and friendly service. We were taken straight to a slightly cramped table which nevertheless had a great view of the water. Bouillabaisse came with generous accompaniments. They brought us unlimited carafes of water without us having to ask which was very welcome in the heat. Mains and desserts were all good, made with quality ingredients, well presented, and generous helpings. It's a nice place. I'd definitely go back.

Well known in the area and much frequented by locals. Didier and the other kitchen staff can really cook. Great properly-hung aged beef. truffled mashed potatoes to die for, unbelievably naughty Deserts. Go and enjoy!!

My husband and I have lived in India, the Middle East and the United Kingdom, all areas where one can eat superb Indian food; so when we stumbled across this restaurant in St. Tropez, we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The naan and other breads were really good, and most of the curries were also very authentic and tasty. The only dubious ingredient was the paneer. I don't think it was true paneer but some other kind of cheese.
The restaurant was very busy on the two occasions that we went there, so the service wasn't 100 percent, but we didn't mind since we had the entire evening to enjoy the food and the ambience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the clientele consisted of all nationalities. Everyone was enjoying themselves - and what more could you want?!

We docked our boat next to the restaurant right on the waterfront in Cogolin near St Tropez. The restaurant was recommended to us by some friends who work around the port. We didn't regret. We had some Vietnamese ravioli of course, various Dim Sums, all excellent for the place and to follow, a chicken with vegetables, salt and peper and hot chilli prawns with rice vermicellis, all excellent. Nougat for dessert.
We will be back, as there is no exotic restaurant in this area and we were happy with this one.
