On our trip to Bornholm, we tried a couple of local beers from Svaneke, so when we visited the beautiful town, we had to go to the brewery. My wife and I each had the flight of four beers. This was a treat. The Mork Guld was my favorite, but I also liked the Reggae beer. Sweet Mary was amazing, but a bit strong for me at 7.9%. And I just could not wrap my taste buds around the Licorice beer, but my wife liked it. The point is, Svaneke is a creative brewery and you can take your own tasting tour by ordering a couple of samplers and enjoying the experience in a classic old Danish building. The service was excellent. Young people rushing to fill orders, absolutely polite, and deliberately helpful explaining the beers and the menu. While we didn't eat here, I wish we had. The plates of ribs, open face sandwiches, etc., looked like artwork in their presentation.

Had the three course dinner menu with the family.
Service throughout the dinner was very good and delivered with a twinkle in the eye - no negative comments to this.
Reason for the average rating is the food experience which was exactly that: average. The food was OK, but quite mainstream in composition, taste and choice of ingredients. It seemed like a place that would always take the safe bet, which compared to the other good restaurants on Bornholm makes this place a bit boring. Also taking into account that the place is not cheap and will set you back a bit, my opinion is that you can find more interesting food experiences elsewhere.

Lots of variety on the buffet, but many of the items were saltier than they needed to be. But since they probably make more money from the bar, that's not surprising -- it's a standard ploy in many American bars too. The buffet is fish only, no meats, no desserts.

On a sunny Sunday evening at the beginning of our Bornholm holiday we stopped for some fish at the old smokehouse on the edge of Nexø. Large quantities of mackerel and fish cakes with potato salad and chips respectively were served at small tables overlooking the Baltic sea. We enjoyed the food and the view. Recommended.

The hotel is in a beautiful location in a forest, very close to the beach and plenty of biking trails. The hotel offers bike rental. Very good breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Would definitely recommend!

We were really impressed with the pizza - tasted delicious (a kind I have been looking for since I moved to Denmark 5 years ago!!) Huge (the large size was enough for 3 adult women) and the prices were definitely ok. The restaurant itself is super cool - it's got a bit of a theme, with half a boat turned into a bar outside, sand on the floor in the furthest back room in the restaurant (there is a main room with no sand if that is preferred). Service is limited - they are certainly nice enough - you order at the bar for everything.

We had a very nice dinner, we had the special of the day, monkfish. Our server was not very knowledgeable and the language barrier didn't help. The decor was lovely and there was nice outside Seating but it was too windy and cool for us to sit outside. If the service was improved, this restaurant would get five circles from me.

Well worth the visit, a real surprise! Just sorry we couldn't stay long enough for the roast pig barbecue .... The smell was mouth watering! The food was very good together with there sense of humour... Read the menu to understand. :-)

Her er der rigtig god morgenmadsbuffet og pizzabuffet om aftenen.
Desværre besøgte vi campingpladsen, mens vejret var rigtig dårligt - men vi fik alligevel et aldeles godt indtryk af pladsen. Og vi kommer tilbage!
Der er rigtig mange faciliteter - dog var vi gladest for den meget store tv-stue med tilhørende kantineborde og tilstødende sofastue. Det siger sig selv at næsten alle stikkontakterne blev brugt til opladning af diverse elektroniske gadgets :-)
