Archetypal greek taverna. Not super elegant (and smokers - and cats - abound; more a fan of the latter than the former) but clean, good service and excellent value for money. Ate here a couple of times before the Marathon this year but couldn't walk all that way afterwards :) Whatever you order, they always add a fruit plate and Greek doughnuts at the end of your meal.

It is a family business of Mother Dina , Father Dimitris and son John , so it feels like home with well cooked meals and low prices. Miss Dina has many years of experience in cooking and her biggest goal is to satisfy all customers and try to present them the way a meal and some wine change our mood and make our life better.Most of the ingredients of our cuisine like wine,vinegar,tomatoes,eggplants,rocket,potatoes and fava are produced by son John and Father Dimitris in Santorini Island. Palia Fava has been awarded twice with the Best Greek Tavern Award for 2014 by CosmopolisFinezza and Mission:Life and Style.

Really excellent place. Visited by group of people and the had best food ever.
Restaurant is located in nice silent place. Only Greeks inside. Owner welcomed us, put a wine on the table. Starters - aubergines, octopus and sardines - just very good. Main dishes - beef, lamb, octopus and veal - top level of any cousine, really one of best food we ever had. For the dessert we received "fava" - grapes in sugar syrop with sour cream - the best sweet I ever had.
Must eat there!!!!!!!!

Walked over from the Intercontinental. We ordered garlic foccacia, a margherita pizza, and a "pepperoni" calzone (the pepperoni got lost in translation with the waitress). Food was all delicious nevertheless. Fun fact to discover that the owners' family also operates a location in Syracuse, NY (have family ties there).

The food = delicious, the staff = the best, atmosphere = like home. If you like meat = still the best, if you don't = salads are exceptional too. Above all the staff even remember what I have eaten on the previous visit.

This is a wonderful way to see the sunset in Athens. The city is lit up and the ruins are illustrated beautifully. Your views change because the table is in continuous slow circular motion. Excellent restaurant. The sea bream carpaccio was great. The salad with shrimps had my favorite mango fruit and from vegetables the red peppers and the carrots were enjoyable. The spearmint emphasized the taste of the salad. The ocean roll with tuna and shrimps tasteful because of the seafood that was fresh and there was also some salmon.

It s a small and cosy wine and deli bar. The wine list contains approx 30 wine from the greek vineyard,in a glass of 150 ml. The food menu contains club sandwiches,toasts,sandwiches,plate with greek PDO cheeses and smoked meats and some authentic greek recipes. You can also find coffees,teas,homemade lemonade with ginger and small desserts. We offer free wine tasting of oirginal greek grapes so you can choose wich wine it is your favorite.Also we have special wine flights with rare greek wines. I can only recommend this place! we had great greek wine and delicious plate with greek meet and cheese products. The staff was very friendly, I like that they explained us about locations, where the food comes from. If I visit Athens another time I will definitely come back to this place! Thank you!

Having just arrived in Athens we researched to find a good Thai restaurant. The Dara had good reviews so my wife who is Thai contacted them on face book to book a table. The response was immediate. On Arrival we were warmly created and as is the Thai way the food options were discussed at length. An order was place for Som Tum. grilled garlic chicken, Tom Yum Khun and Stir fried pork with chillie and basil. The food was very authentic Thai was served fresh at a relaxed pace as is the Thai way. The staff were excellent frequently stopping to chat. The price we thought was reasonable compared to other European cities Overall a great experience.

Little Tree Books is located in Kavalloti, first you see a little retro Terrace before the shop,you stop here for a moment and see the library inside with books, how fine this little charmant stay, with a nice coffee and read.
