If I remember rightly I think this restaurant overlooks the lake, but I could be wrong. It had a good choice of menu, very reasonably priced, and friendly staff.

We were drawn here by the strong TripAdvisor ratings but of the 3 restaurants we dinjed at in Praia de Mira this ranked third for us. Unfortunately I have no language skills and communication was difficult. I got a dish laden with garlic.I don't like garlic.The rest of the food was fine. The restaurant is heated by a wood stove. Mrs. started a fire and didn't open the damper. The restaurant filled with smoke which killed the ambience.It wasn't awful but by comparison I was disappointed.

My husband and I first came here for our first date 7 years ago and we continue to love coming here. Their garlic bread is delicious and the pizzas are fresh. We always look forward to coming here to celebrate our Anniversary after a couple of days at the beach. The owners are great and they work so hard to make sure that this place runs smoothly and that the food continues to be delicious.

When in Praia de Mira you must try their croissants. My son eats about two a day. They have chocolate, ham and cheese, egg, and ground beef. Flaky and delicious. My only complaint is that they don't always
Have croissants available. If you go between 2-5pm they may not have any ready.

I was last weekend in Praia da Mira and went to Nautic Bar for lunch. I didn't know it before, we found it through internet and it was an amazing surprise! The place is very nice and cosy and the views to the lake are amazing but what should i say about the food? We were absolutely surprised by an awesome vegetarian meal provided with a lot of care (and for sure some passion)! The owners were also very nice, explaining all the details about the meal. A place to return, for sure!

We found this restaurant on a cloudy, slightly chilly summers day. So hot food was the important requirement. So we opted for Arroz de Tamboril and it was lovely. Beautiful big chunks of tamboril and three large prawns each as well. Certainly what the doctor ordered. IT was steaming hot and at the end of it what was left was still hot. Service was good and friendly.

Here you can eat, without prior order, 2 dishes.
Cod Fish "Lagareiro" style (lagareiro is the man who presses olives to extract olive oil): fresh, delicious, the cod itself, salt boiled potatos (don't worry, there's salt on the skin, but they're not over salted), crude olive oil, raw onions and minced raw garlic, plus a very fresh local produced salad. Superb Mediterranean food.
Or you can have charcoal grilled Pork Chops: well done meat, juicy, tasty, you won't find better grilled pork anywhere on earth, on the same level I doubt it, better it´s just impossible, that's how good it is. Desert is not a priority in this family run restaurant. Friendly service, basic dining room. The restaurant is a bit off track, but if you're nearby, don't miss this one.

Very Nice and very small restaurant, we had to queue to have a table, with very good and fresh preparered food. Very cheap as well ... Beware : you can only pay cash.
