Situated on the main road through Lassi, this traditional restaurant remains very popular with visitors to the resort and its plain to see why. The typical Greek menu offers all the firm favourites with good service and reasonable prices. In the end I chose the home baked lamb which was very tender and full of flavour. Overall, a very enjoyable evening and we look forward to returning. Recommended.

Welcome to Phaedra Restaurant. The restaurant ''Phaedra'' opened its doors in 1997 and it is located in Lassi, the tourist area of Argostoli, which is also one of the lovliest areas in Kefalonia. In Lassi are located two of the most well-known Beaches on the island, namely, Makrys Gialos and Platys Gialos, which are chosen not only by the tourists but also by the local residents of Kefalonia. And of course, some of the most beautiful places for sight-seeing, for example Fanari, Saint Gerasimo's cave and just a few kilometers away, the heart of Argostoli. In our restaurant you will find a variety of delicious traditional dishes. Many of our dishes are based on kefalonian cusine, but it also has dishes from all over Greece. We always cook with fresh ingredients and we have a large variety of Kefalonian wines, including the well-known Robola as well as many others.

Good meal, couldn't fault it. Staff very busy with other customers but pleasant enough. The only thing that let it down was that we were sat in a no smoking area (even though Greece has the same no smoking laws as us) and there was a large table of customers smoking, the smoke was drifting in our direction which isn't pleasant at the best of times let alone when you are eating, we would never sit in a smoking area, the staff didn't appear bothered about this so we didn't linger after our meal which was a shame really as it was a nice little restaurant with a separate bar area.

The place is very, very cosy and well decorated.
The service is Ok and the waiters are very kind, but.........
We had chosen the soutzoutaki (meatballs in tomato sauce) and kefalonian meatpie.
It tasted allright. For myself, I just made it to the toilet, and my partner however has been sick all night (vomiting and other stomach problems).
Advise: take care of the hygiene!!!!

Visited twice during our stay in Lassi. Both times had an excellent meal. Dishes we particularly liked were sea bass, moussaka and kebabs. They did Happy hour for cocktails early evening. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Greek dancing twice a week was good fun. Found prices very reasonable

Great to come back to Retseto and see things have not changed the food and service we're as good as last year. The food is very traditional and of a high standard and the service is very efficient, but friendly too. Kleftico and Moussaka are highly recommended but my favourite is the Meatballs they are lovely.
A highly recommended restaurant which we always visit on a few occasions when in Lassi and will do when we visit again.

We tried to visit a new place every night in Lassi, but this place merited a revisit. Very good food and friendly service. We tried mostly greek food (meatballs in tomato sauce, taramosalata, kleftiko and beef stew in a pie shell) but also a pepper steak which was lovely, both tender and strong. A pleasant surprise.

Fancied a change from Greek taverna food and was delighted to spot Paralos. We all had Pizzas and they were all great, as was the service. Highly recommended.

Our favourite taverna in Lassi. Great atmosphere, delicious menu, supersonic waiting staff.
With cosy little corners, and a large dinning room, this was the ideal setting for any occasion. We particularly enjoyed the music nights,with singing, dancing and plate smashing.
The menu was very extensive. Favourite was kefalonian meat pie and retsina.
The staff were amazing, they literally ran from dinning room to kitchen to get our orders. Excellent.
