Heiwa, Sushi Bar and Japanese Restaurant, it is located on the beach with a wonderfull sight to the sea. It is a small restaurant run by its owners, with and identity deeply marked by the tradition, the japanese origin is shown in the details of a well care sushi, as well as in the hot dishes. Open on high season and long weekends, check for other dates.

Un lugar encantador en medio de un médano. Bien ubicado y ambientado.
El sushi es muy bueno, peeero, es casi lo único que ofrecen, salvo algunas excepciones de cocina al wock.
Si sus niños no comen sushi, no ofrecen otra opción ni menú infantil.
Atención! Llamativamente, siempre trabajan solo efectivo “por ahora”.

This restaurant got the best reviews in the area that we are staying in. The people working there were extremely friendly in the atmosphere was pretty much normal an average for the area. But the price is completely blew our minds they were more than 3 times what they are in this area. My girlfriend tried to get us out of the place using our broken Spanish. I would suggest a restaurant in the area which would probably have similar food and is a lot cheaper.

Un bello lugar en medio del bosque con posibilidad de comer adentro o al aire libre. Con 6 variedades de cervezas artesanales elaboradas en Mar de las Pampas. A mi paladar es muy sutil la diferencia entre las diferentes variedades (honey, red barley, doble bock, ahumada y otras dos). Gran variedad de pizas y pastas, apto para vegetarianos y sabroso.

Ok this is supposed to be a pizzeria but what they brought was not a pizza even by Argentinian standards. It was like a thin bread which had a layer of of cheese which was already getting hard when it arrived. The funny thing was that this "pizza" arrived within 5 minutes after ordering so it looks like the basic "pizza" is pre-cooked and they slap some extra ingredients on top without it spending any proper time in the oven.
Table service was friendly but the woman at reception bizarrely tried to steer us to an empty part of the restaurant which was deserted for a reason.
All the positive reviews just baffle me as unfortunately they were the reason why we visited.

This restaurant doesn´t show the menues outside as most other do. In spite of this we decided to go in and they offered us a very quiet place upstairs with a nice view. As it was my birthday my husband decided to stay. we were offered a menu and saw apparently no prices. But we started to read better and saw they were written in letters instead of numbers below the description of each dish. It´s extremely expensive!!! We ate a very tasty fist dish that we shared. Then we ate the fish of the day "corvina", it was excellent too. The problem was that all of a sudden appeared a LARGE group of people with 5 little children!!! It was a disastrous meal. Very noisy as most children are. Obviously they were not responsible for that but the peson in charge. I would never go back and wouldn´t recommend it.

There were no smiles from any of the waiters and they served us without any joy in their hearts. Food was OK, service was terrible. They also had no Dutch or other European food despite it all being on the menu.

No esperes gran decoración, ni ambientación moderna, es más bien todo lo contrario. Un sitio sencillo, con gente muy piola para atender al comensal. El servicio es bueno y los platos salen con poca demora.
La comida es rica y abundante. Los precios son adecuados.

This is a lovely resto attached to a small apart hotel. The setting is very nice, you can choose to dine/lunch outside surrounded by a well attended vegetation in one of the two patios or inside. The recipes (by now you know) are from the Bobe of the family, Poland' inmigrants. Be prepared to eat gorgeous knishes! Prices are ok, and the waitress are very kind.
