Lago del desierto is one of the most and last virgin areas in the Patagonian Andes. Exploring the 36km between the lake and the town of El Chaltén, can be an unforgettable experience. We leave from town early in the morning, to the beautiful lake with its crystal-clear water. Once there you can do a boat trip or go trekking in the area to the wonderful Huemul Glacier and its turquoise colored lake. You have the whole day to make the bike ride, going back to town and following the rapids of ¨Rio de las Vueltas¨ with the wind in your back!!.
