Been coming here for years, most recent visit saw us experience the changes we'd heard about. Put in a VIP room with air con, a little disconcerting as we're used to the main room, but made you feel a little special too so no biggie. The wait staff are great with their attention, yet not too pushy. Salt & Pepper Squid was great - big serve always makes you smile a little more. Prawn dish was really good too. No beer on-tap any more which was a shame. Overall, nice to eat here again, but like most local places, do take your own TP!

Everyone I met during a recent business trip to the Northern Division was upbeat and positive about life. They were doing something and content about it. Many people are self employed.
Labasa has various picnic spots (one near Tabia), lovely temples, the best sugar mill in Fiji, and very friendly people.
Almost every one knows hindi, english, and Fijian very well. The respect for each others religion is simply amazing.

This place has THE best burgers/fish&chips topped off with their yes....home made nuggets! They also cater for vegetarians. On the menu,you can also find chicken&chips,lamp/chicken/fish Burger that can be customized with additional cheese patty.
Though be prepared to wait during peak hours being 12-2 p.m and during Saturdays. You can order via phone or order & tke a walk,shop, or browse as they via their computer or wifi as internet services are also provided at a reasonable charge.
Friendly owners...a place not to be missed!

We found this restaurant by chance as it was one of the few places open on a Friday night in Labasa. Up a flight of stairs to the first floor then through a set of glass doors, this is a fairly unassuming restaurant. However, once you go through the doors into the restaurant you are greeted by the owner and the waitress and made to feel very much at home.
We had a chickpea curry which was amazing, some white rice and a plate of rotis. All the food was delicious. We also enjoyed a couple of big bottles of Fiji Gold, with the owner coming over frequently to chat with us and check that everything was OK.
The service was really good and super friendly, the food was excellent, and the prices were extremely good. Our whole meal was around F$28, of which the food was only FJ9. Everything was so good that we went straight back there the following evening and had exactly the same food and drinks.

We were staying in Labasa for two nights and after eating here the first night came back for the second. The menu has plenty of options and the food was tasty and well cooked. The serving sizes are generous and both time we had two stir fries or curries, two bowls of rice and a glass of wine each and neither time did we pay more than $40.00. Compared to some of the fast food places on the main road this was excellent value.
