We have been to this restaurant many times and enjoyed it every time. Unfortunately our last visit was very different. They were very busy ( not that it should be an excuse) my wife went a la carte and chose the prawn salmon and avocado salad not very well presented very short of prawns salmon and avocado, nothing like she had had on other occasions. She then went on to have rack of lamb and asked for it pink, well I have never seen so much blood on a plate! I had the set menu I always have the mussels gratinee ,although they were nicely cooked and juicy,it was hunt the gratinee. I chose the 3 meat dish for main and it was the worst piece of cooking I have every had at this lovely restaurant, it had been cooked to death! Not like me but I left some food on the plate! Quite upsetting for a usually reliable restaurant

Now open from 7pm 6 days a week serving a la carte, situated at Carrer de la Palma. Serving good quality food at realistic prices we are most popular for our fillet steaks and also popular for our award winning wines, cocktails and sangria. Exceptional wines from Rioja, Valencia and Extremadura are served including the award winning Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz from the house of Habla. Cold and dry Valencian white and rose wines are also served alongside our long-serving Riojas. No loud music or TV. Ideal for friends to meet or small groups to reserve for private parties such as cocktail parties, dinner parties, birthdays, hen parties, anniversaries. The Menu is relatively small, modern and diverse with additional seasonal specials added for variety. You can enjoy freshly prepared food in the evenings and reserve the bar, roof Terrace and/or restaurant for your exclusive use any day of the week. From Easter 2018 we are opening the Amigos Cocktail Bar next door.

We booked a table for 8 people (you have to book to get a table) the meal we had was very good we had mussels for starters and we had pasta pizza steak so we had quite a selection between us and everyone enjoyed there meal plus quite a few beers and wines. The staff were very efficient And attentive we had a thoroughly good evening which lasted over 3 hours the atmosphere is very good and the service made the evening.They threw in a few shots with the bill which went very well and finished off a very good evening.

Cozy restaurant near the beach with a caribbean accent,our specialty are the jamaican spareribs but we also serve a nice steak,slowly cooked lambshoulder and much more. Also several dishes for people who have a gluten diet, we also speak english and dutch.

Stayed in the area for a week and this was the first restaurant I went to. Stumbled upon it as we were by the beach. Went and and food was great, standard food but with the Caribbean twist they put on it makes it's amazing!!...Moredear saf, thanks for your review,indeed the caribbean twist makes all the difference. hope to see you back soon.

Called in on spec one lunchtime, very fortunate to be seated during a very busy service. From the off the service was professional and attentive. For a 'menu del dai' the choices were excellent, Sabor might not be the least expensive option, but €18 for 3 courses of this quality and restaurant standards it is worth the little extra. We will return, hopefully for a dinner before we leave Altea. Certainly would recommend for lunch.

El Xato is a very fine and refined restaurant where the kitchen and the tables work in full teaming to make everything perfect for a nice evening out: of such high quality that one would expect a Muchelin star for this Restaurant.
There are 3 master piece tasting menus, we had the middle one: amazing what a good chef can make out of ingredients and a nice setting: the chef plays with our taste buds and our eyes to constantly surprise us with each plate an unexpected sequence of taste, fresh or hot or cold temperatures and colours.
The wine card is extraordinary as well: the maître is also sommelier and selected special wines and liquors.
Count on approx 50 euros pp incl wine.

Leonardo restaurant is located in the center of Albir on the famous bulevard the Los Musicos , its a Dutch restaurant . The Dutch owner and also your chef, will surprise you with a 3 course meal including house wine from € 12.95 . There is also a VIP menu for € 21.95 , which consists of 4 courses with exclusive choice options , but you start with a Cava. Everything has been thought of to make your staying as pleasant as possible, atmosphere, music , climate , lighting , chairs and furnishings are perfectly matched and will make your lunch or dinner as attractively as possible. Outside is also agreeable, when the weather permits , and that is Albir usually the case , lunch or diner can be served outside . it is thought to comfort and looks out on the most likely green boulevard on the Costa Blanca . The Terrace has room for 32 people . Also outside is soft lighting and music provided. Leonardo summary of what you have to offer - . Informal and friendly service , a fantastic 3 course menu with a focus on the price / quality ratio - . Very central and quiet location in Albir surrounded by green park of the Bulevard de los Musicos wich is comfortable and relaxing decor. - Large Terrace with smooth lighting and background music .

We had the basic menu del dia which was excellent. Good food. Lovely atmosphere. Never rushed. Looking forward to going back on Saturday, for the VIP menu.

This is Albirs by far the best restaurant. Welcoming service on our two visits on Sunday lunch. The food is of the highest class and with well-composed flavors and beautifully presented on the plates. The four-course lunch on Sundays inclouding wine and coffee is very affordable. We can really recommend this restaurant, we will be back next time as we come to Albir.

Two years since we last visited Benidorm and we were amazed to see the improvement in what already was a great place to eat. The cafe has been extended to accommodate more inside Seating which at this time of year is essential.
If anything the food quality and presentation has also improved and also the range of dishes all of which are home made. This eating place is a market leader and not Benidorm's answer to anything. Jacket potatoes, baguettes, rolls, sandwiches and home made pastries are superb, but the savoury pies are simply divine. Incredible.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on our first night of our most recent trip. We had tried to dine there before but on previous visits they had been closed. I am so glad we persevered.
We were seated in the courtyard, at the side of the restaurant and a very attentive Alvaro looked after us very well. We chose calamari for a starter and followed that with a mixed grill. The calamari was good but the star of the show was the meat plate, a carnivores dream! All of the meats were succulent, extremely tasty and beautifully cooked.
Sadly, we had no room for dessert, all the more reason to visit again to try other offerings from their menu.
Thanks Teresa for the chance to practice my Spanish, even if our conversation about Zumba, complete with actions, had my husband very puzzled!
