Had a number of meals here as it’s the restaurant that is located st our accommodation. Over the time we were there we enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. Traditional thai food restaurant opened on September 2011, now moved on a new comfortable boutique location,few steps from Kata Beach. The chef Ole' will be happy to sudgest you tradional thai food and a tasty selection of Essan cousine (100% MSG Free). Fresh ingredients, no frozen product, spicy tailored level, tasty food, and cured dish presentation. Vegan, vegetarian, non spicy food and food intollerance special cares. New dessert card, and quality spirits, a boutique wine celler and good cocktails. A must!

Food was pretty good however I feel I agree with others in saying it is more $$$ than other restaurants around. Not sure if the price reflects what you get. Ingredients were fresh and well cooked and the staff were friendly so all in all a good experience and enjoyable food.

If you’re not staying around Kata Beach, it might be a bit of a trek to get here considering there is no metered taxis around. I was staying 1/2 mile away so it was about a 10 minute walk.
I believe they are closed on Fridays. Open from 8:00am - 6:00pm. It was so good I came back here a 2nd time. My only disappointment is that they were limited on the items they had available. There’s no AC but some fans inside.
Anyways, you order first. I recommend getting any of the Pad Thai (a whopping 50 baht). It’s different from the others- I think they use the vermicelli noodle. Idk-I’ve attached a pic because it’s not the usually fatter noodles. With the pad Thai, they give you a side plate of bean sprouts and lime.
Then the beef krapow (also 50 baht) with the perfectly cooked rice is amazing. The portions are very generous.
There is also a really yummy flavorful chicken soup that is complimentary - Don’t forget to get that. The longest I ever waited was about 20 minutes and that’s because it was a full house but it was well worth the wait. Pick out your own drinks at the refrigerator. After you’re done eating, head to the register and pay. It’s the best and cheapest food ever! I definitely recommend coming here.

Went for lunch, had the crunchy fried pork, chicken fried rice, chicken satay skewers. Located on main road from Kata to Karon beach. Free garlic bread and chilled drinking water, service was very good. Seems geared to both western food and Thai, popular with Russians when we went. Clean tables and cutlery/crockery. Very yummy crispy fried pork and chicken fried rice, satay was addictive prices also surprisingly cheap (80thb for skewers, rice was 90thb). Check the specials board out front. Great stop on the way to Karon beach. Free fruit after meal.

Located down a quiet street off the main drag! Consistently open later than most bars/restaurants around. Food was prepared fresh to order everytime, waiting a few extra minutes was worth it. We ate here a couple times during our stay. Food was excellent everytime! Awesome spring rolls, great selection of craft beers, liquor and ciders, and quite possibly THE BEST Tom yum we had on the island! Also, every possible Television channel you could need if you’re looking for any sports broadcast from back home; anywhere!
John was an amazing host. He runs the front while his Mrs takes care of the back. Together they made the perfect team! Personally, John thank you for all tips both for Kata Beach area as well as tips for our stay back in Bangkok. You nailed them all! Best of luck to both of you, and until we see you again, Cheers!

We had a best night Turkish food restaurant has always been my favourite especially after a few visits to Turkey and the Middle East.
The middle range good restaurant very tasty. The chicken shish and some nana and seasoned was good enough. The best part of they provide quick fast. it tasted very authentic in my opinion.
The service was great and recommend for other.

The menu is extensive and the staff member was helpful by offering us a combination special. During our meal I asked for directions to another restaurant for breaky the next morning enquiring about coffee. They said Nami make great coffee too. Then to my surprise at the end of my meal they made me an awesome cup of coffee to try for free. I also asked about the Festival of Lights and the waitress came back with her mobile and the information was on it for me to see. Very attentive and friendly staff.

By Pure luck we Managed to get a table without booking .
It's easy to see why this place is highly rated & popular the burgers are amazingly large cooked perfect to your liking.
They also have Strong IPA on draft what a bonus.
The Staff are helpful & service is good can't fault anything really the focus of this restaurant is purely providing great food & Customer service .
Hopefully we will get another chance to eat hear again before we leave Karon Beach.
One Tip i would recommend you book your table to avoid being disappointed.

Chose this small restaurant (maybe 30 covers in total), based on TA reviews and close proximity to the hotel we were staying in.
The waiter was friendly and our order swiftly taken. The food was delivered when ready (our starters and main arrived at the same time).
Kitchen staff were seen wearing gloves and often delivered meals to diners. My guess is they did not speak English as they said nothing, just nodded and walked away.
The meals were clearly cooked to order and were really very good. They took a little time to arrive but not excessive.
Was the best value meal we have had so far in Thailand and would definitely recommend it

For Asians turkish restaurants can be a great find, but for us from Western Europe it is -unfortunately- nothing special anymore. We have tons of Turkish restaurants and snackbars to chose from in our hometown. Food, however, is always good. Very tasty and always more than you can eat. Kataturk is no exception. It's a good restaurant and a delight if you have eaten enough thai food. Inside it is pleasantly airconditioned and on a TV screen you can watch the highlights of Turkey, a beautiful country.
But again, we know the taste so this restaurant was not a surprise. The food was good, but the dessert, baklava with tea, was beyond excellent. What a treat. Owner is extremely kind and service is quick.
