Eetcafé D'n Brooy is nicely located in the countryside close to the village of Gilze. The restaurant has a lunch and a dinner menu. In addition to this, there is a week's menu as well.
There is a Terrace for sunny days where you can sit down and relaxc to have a drink.
When there are many guests the service is slow and it takes time to get the attention of the staff. No idea, how the service will be when it is really crowded.
For dinner I had chosen lamb as starter I had crab cookies which were tasteful, as the main dish I had lamb which was not the best I have ever had. Tzaziki as side dish was nice, though.
The white wine was nice.
The atmosphere is informal.
I liked the location the best, service, there is room for improvement with respect to food quality of food and service.

On the plus side: there’s ample parking and enough Seating. The service is friendly, but a bit slow. On the down side: the food is not really special, it’s barely average.
The choice is good enough ‘though and it caters for families, business, the young and old.

We enjoyed a six-course dinner at the Auberge Du Bonheur restaurant. For us, mid-aged couple, the restaurant, decor and atmosphere was slightly ... stiff. The place where people would be whispering. The dishes were nicely presented and well made though not particularly outstanding for the price of the menu. We did however feast on the great selection of cheeses that were on display. Together with a 40-year-old port that was a great closure of the dinner.

Altijd fantastisch! Zeldzaam goed restaurant. Service perfect en enorm vriendelijk. Gerechten zijn briljant, perfect bereid en vol van smaak. Always amazing! A true gem. Perfect service and very friendly staff. Dishes are amazing, cooked to perfection and bursting of delicious flavors.

Restaurant is situated in the coach house in a nice parc. Nice modern setting. Seabass and lobster, nice fresh summery dish, maybe a bit simple. Quail and foie gras, beautiful presented dish, tastes great too. Blackberry and chocolate an outstanding desert. Food quality very good. Service equally good and very friendly. Then comes the wine, a good selection, many of them biodynamic in nature. No critisism of the restaurant but the more I drink these wines the worse I find them. Whites golden which is usual a sign of oxidation and the reds usually having foul odors and some sparkle in them. Same here, a Sangiovese that had no acidity and a blaufrankish that stunk and had a sparkle. Please stop making durable wines, it is a fad that produces terrible products.

One of the best restaurants in Tilburg. Very reasonably priced and high quality, the specials can be very good indeed. This restaurant is definately the best thing about the Mercure Hotel.

Leuk klein pannenkoekenhuis in de bossen van Chaam. Veel speelgelegenheid voor kinderen buiten en honden zijn ook welkom. De pannenkoeken zijn lekker vers en niet machinaal bereidt. Alles tegen zeer schappelijke prijzen.

Last night I ate at Sarban, as I needed to find a halal and organic restaurant to suit the needs of our diverse group of friends. We ended up spending a wonderful 3 hours in Sarban, being introduced to the Afghan cuisine. We took the 'introduction meal', which meant that we got served small portions of approx. 60-70% of the total menu. All the food was super tasty and was seasoned to perfection! Not a single bread crumb was returned to the kitchen. We really enjoyed the experience, would definitely recommend!!

De Eatkamer is actually located in Goirle, a small town just outside Tilburg. We were a group of 10, and everyone spoke postively over this restaurant. The food was excellent, the portions generous and the service prompt despite the restaurant being close to full.
I recommend de Eetkamer if you are in Goirle !

I went here twice for lunch with friends and so far and both times, the food and the atmosphere were pretty good. They have high quality oysters and the " cheapest" plateau, where they have several options with different price, was pretty good too. They have also a shop, were you can buy the different foods for home. I like, that they offer basically whole day some small lunch menu and the different plateaus. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
Prices in general aren't cheap, but still ok. I don't know how they manage that but it feels really like a French place in Tilburg..
