This restaurant never disappoints. The food, set lunch or a la carte, is inventive, delicious and satisfying. The service is wonderful however many diners are present. Attentive informative staff look after you perfectly. The very high standards of every part of this restaurant are reflected in the large number of regular returning diners. They deserve success. Make sure you book, you will not regret it.

We tried this restaurant twice, once on our first night (a Saturday) when they had a music duo and a second time in our last week when we arrived unsolicited on a weekday evening. First time around all tables were booked whereas our second visit saw us dining alone.
On both occasions we enjoyed our food, its an interesting place occupying part of a sleepy stations platform, personally I loved it; quirky yet very comfortable.

Stopped here yesterday with my friend for lunch. Gorgeous location in front of a Fountain in a small sunny village square. Nice menu, lots of options. I had prawns pil pil and my friend had lamb chops, both delicious and washed down with a cold beer!

I wouldn't eat here again as the food was appalling. The outside Seating on a non windy day is great and there is loads of space for children to play. Inside small and cramped. Would not recommend.

I went here with a family group of nine for a light dinner. Service was swift and friendly and the setting on a table al fresco was very pleasant indeed. I ordered a "hamburger", naively expecting a beef patty in a bun of some sort. What I got was a pork (I think) patty, clearly home made, but without bun, or any other accessories other than a cheese topping, and some tomatoes on the side. That would have bee just fine but then on tasting I found the burger to be heavily seasoned with herbs and very salty, so not to my taste.

1. If you like your burger in a bun and not too salty, this is not the place for you

If you go here, suggest you try the hake or the calamari, which were not too bad

Small friendly bar serving an excellent choice of tapas, only drawback is its only open at weekends as Andrieta also runs the village store. It has great views from the rear windows , well worth a visit if you are visiting benarraba

We visited here after an excellent meal on holiday last year.
The staff were the same but not quite a 'on the ball'. The waitress was very harassed and tried her best but the stress of coping with several tables left her a little short on pleasant service. Not everything was available on the menu, although the venison we resorted to was tender and tasty. Portions here are tapas style and very rustic, which we like, but they do seem to be rather small for some dishes. 2 meat balls and 7 chips felt a little short of what I would expect for the price. The Terrace is lovely, great view and it is fun to watch children, below, enjoying the lovely municipal swimming pool.

This tiny out-the-way restaurant, just behind the main square provided us with an outstanding dinner. Our starter was duck pate ina terrific pimiento sauce - really memorable. We had duck breast and Iberican pork fillet to follow. The duck was the nest we have eaten anywhere - truly amazing. Cooked to petefectionhard to achieve. The pork was also very good. Too full for dessert wehad excellent coffee and house bino dulce. A great meal.
