Riders of the Lost Trail, offers guided off road motorcycle / motorbike trail tour and enduro holidays in this beautiful part of Andalucia, Southern Spain. All you need is a full motorcycle licence, and you can enjoy the amazing scenery of this inland part of Spain aboard our KTM trail / enduro motorbikes. We generally travel between 95 - 120 Kms per day, on many of the 1000's of tracks and trails that criss-cross the countryside. Our tours include, all the riding gear and safety equipment, 3rd party bike insurance, lunch, bike rental, and the guide. We have teamed up with the El Gecko hotel, for all our accommodation needs. Tours can be from 1 day to 10 days.

Thanks to everyone for looking after us as soon as we arrived in Malaga. The accommodation was great and in a cracking position in the village.
The riding was even better than I had hoped. The views were breathtaking, the goat track hill climbs and rocky descents really got the blood pumping on many occasions. River crossings were exciting as were the dry stream bed rocky trials sections. After topping out on the larger Mountains, it was so peaceful with beautiful scenery. Yes, without a doubt, I would recommend booking Riders-Of-The-Lost-Trail. Thanks again Phil for looking after us.

Enjoyed a two hour trip with family and friends. We were a large group with large people and injured people. They were able to accomodate everyone in our group and we all enjoyed the ride and staff. Thanks for a great trip!

You need to be relatively fit to climb to the castle and even then, additionally fit to scale the ancient ruins atop of the hill. Having done so, you will be rewarded with spectator 360 degree views. Do not miss the little historic church within the castle. There is a small shop selling cold drinks, although the young guy supposedly manning the shop seemed to be more keen in beating his dog into submission than serving customers. There are two ways to the castle but I recommend you use the westerly one from the main part of the village - I am convinced someone took a pot shot at us with an air rifle or .22 as we descended the hill on the easterly route.

I loved every second I spent here. Clare is possibly the most natural and intuituve horsewoman I've ever met - and really good fun too. Although I've ridden on and off (!) for many years, I'm over 60 now and quite nervous but I felt so safe and rode over the mountainous terrain without any qualms at all. The scenery is stunning and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
All the horses live free on the mountain and as we returned to the stables after my first ride, the horses appeared out of the forest and joined us so we effectively became part of the herd - a truly magical moment.
Experienced riders will undoubtedly learn something from Clare's approach and beginners will have a wonderful introduction to riding in the most glorious of settings. Don't miss this opportunity!

Lovely walk from the main square up through steep cobbled streets (although longer more gradual walk available). Surprisingly good castle, with excellent steel walkways around the ruins.
Majority of information points in Spanish (understandably), but if you find one with the English QR reader you have access to all the info. I think there was one in the main square, but only found one halfway through "our tour". However still a lovely visit, and views are great.

We were in Estepona recently and took a wander into the “historico” bit. It is very nice and the little houses are lovely, with a good range of different coloured flowerpots hanging from the walls. Very pretty but rather tedious after a very short time. Maybe we missed something spectacular but if we did, they should do a better sales job! Not for us

Reservations are required. We tried to reserve online, but when that did not seem to work, we just called once we arrive in Spain and reserved a time slot.
We enjoyed the drive. It was picturesque, and the twisty roads can be fun if you are in the right car.
We arrived about 45 minutes early so we spent the time watching the M3’s, a corvette, and several Maserati GT’s roar through the valley.
We were in a group of 26 and each couple had an LED lantern. The tour was conducted in Spanish, but our guide did provide some English, though it was much less detailed. The total time in the cave was about 75 minutes.
This is a strenuous activity. If the climb up from the parking lot is a problem, then you should not try the cave.
Wear the right shoes - something with good grip on slippery surfaces. The damp atmosphere of the cave makes the floor slippery in some places. There are some hand rails, but not everywhere. The steps are steep in some places.
All that said, it was well worth the effort for this memorable experience.

We use 19th century shuttle looms to make our unique range of products using only fine quality natural fibres including lambswool, alpaca, silk and cashmere. From a light alpaca shawl to a merino and cashmere blanket we have something for everyone. We have also opened a lovely little studio in Calle Armiñan 130, Gaucin where we have a full selection of our products.We are open all year round, call or email us to arrange a visit to either the mill or studio. Don't miss this spot! Ring them before going and they will indicate you how to get there. Everything is fantastic and so different over there! The lovely wool products, the beautiful old watermill by the river where Paul and Dawn live and work and the gorgeous landscape you meet on your way... I strongly recommend a call (and beware! you will not be able to resist the temptation to buy something,,,).

The name ‘Casares’ originates from the Arabic word meaning “fortress” or” castle”.
The Castle has some impressive views over the countryside, it’s obvious that it was originally constructed with a defensive purpose, with easy access from the town square.
You can still see the ruins of the main doors, the castle being is being renovated. Unfortunately the castle isn’t open every day (closed the day we were there)

There is a stretch of Promenade from the marina in Estepona heading generally east which runs for about 2 miles and is very flat and easy to navigate. Other than watching out for cyclists, of which there are many, this is a nice walk with views out to sea as well as over towards the old part of Estepona. There are a number of good places to stop for a refreshment or two and although the better restaurants are to be found in the old town, the ones on the Promenade are reasonably priced and offer good fresh food. The beach is also very well maintained, clean and the sea safe to swim in.
