Fuseta (Portuguese pronunciation: [fuˈzetɐ]) is a former civil parish in the municipality of Olhão, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Moncarapacho e Fuseta. The parish occupies an area of approximately 0.36 square kilometres (0.14 sq mi) and at the 2001 census had a population of 2,146. This parish belonged to the Tavira Municipality until 1876.

A sophisticated Menü, not like the most other restaurants in Olhao and surrounding. Best meet quality, nice atmosphere and even different kind of nudels.

We usually dine at Antonio's but were glad we tried somewhere else. We had a table for 6 indoors (nice and cool) and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The steak, calamari and lasagne all went down a treat. Very reasonably priced too.

Consistently good fish cooked to perfection and served with a magic sauce that makes great fish absolutely superb. So good, we lunched here twice, sitting outdoors watching the fishing boats bobbing in the water. The outdoor Seating is right next to the back entrance of the fish market. Prices are very reasonable. Lunch consisting of a salad, bread and olives, grilled fish served with potatoes or chips, wine and coffee costs a set price of 10 Euros. You can watch the chef grill the fish over charcoal right next to the outdoor Seating area. Ask the waitress what she recommends that day – she suggested sea bream one day and sea bass the next and very good choices they were too. It can get busy, especially at weekends, and service although always friendly can be muddled. On our second lunch, our potatoes never arrived, but the fish was so good I am still giving A Lota 5 stars. This is the standard to beat for grilled fish!

This restaurant opened in September 2008, renovated and under new management. It’s situated right at the entrance of Fuzeta. Inside, the ambience is sophisticated, in tones of lilac with Moorish “inspiration” (the large lamps evoke Morocco).There are many and varied starters to choose from here – from homemade patés to platters of local sausages and cheeses. House specialities are traditional fish pastas, fish rice, cataplanas, salads and vegetarian dishes. The wine list is succinct, but sufficient – and the service is friendly and attentive.

We have returned to this restaurant several times, not because it has the best food but because it is consistent. There is always a good welcome, there are always lovely fish in the fridge and I love the maître,d. He introduced us to a new fish on our latest trip and as a family we were delighted with his recommendations. Prices are excellent and we enjoy a sunset view from the outside Terrace. It is still the usual type of restaurant in this area but we like it.

Stopped off for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. For 11 euros had a grilled sea bass homemade fries and salad, a carafe of wine and some mineral water. The wine was pressao, and was slightly sparklling sweet white wine a bit like fruit juice and delicious. I shall return. We even were offered a free porto at the end of the meal.

There is nothing fancy about this restaurant. It is on a street corner with cars going right by. The salad of tomatoes and onions and lettuce wouldn't excite anyone. Bread nothing to write home about. But the fish, the fish, THE FISH. The catch of the day (and it really is the catch of the day from boats moored 20 metres away) is on ice in front of the bbq. Choose what you want. And then prepare to eat the freshest and most perfect food imaginable. They don't mess around, they just grill it to perfection.

Had several superb meals at O Trevo over 9 nights. We have eaten here before but this time we bought friends with us and by far this was their favourite eating place . The staff were excellent. Nuno was very attentive , he is a great character but also very professional in all that he does. Nadine ( 10 out of 10 ) and Max ( the shy one) support him extremely well . Also Filipe is good behind the bar.The owner Adriano is very friendly and very generous. It's because of this that makes us come back time after time. Thank you O Trevo for making us feel very welcome and part of the " family ".

Fuseta is a lovely place, busy and full of life, thought we would try this one for a change. Nothing to report of any significance, general poor service with a waiter thats to efficient and no personality, its boom boom and food out. Sardines were average, thats unusual in itself as usually they are a safe option in Portugal but not in this case.
I personally would not bother, the place round the corner is better and the food superior, dont bother.
