A very good restaurant with an interesting wines offer. Attentive and dedicated staff.
The dessert was just amazing : "Johannisbeer – Joghurtterrine
im Mantel von geschroteten grünen Kakaobohnen an Erdbeer – Minzesauce"
Hmmm..I still remember it. It was a while I hadn't tasted a dessert that was so nice.

During a visit to this town, we enjoyed a very fine dinner here. Service was friendly (the kind where one is greeted by handshake) and efficient. The food to the most part was delicious. The "Vorspeisenteller" featured plentiful selections and was beautifully presented. I followed it with the Steinpilzravioli I ordered was very tasty and the mushrooms' distinctive taste was well preserved. My friend found her main dish somewhat disappointing, especially the Brägele (roast potatoes without bacon and onions but they were not roasted particularly beautifully).
The selection of local wines to accompany dinner was lovely.

Good, Italian food, well prepared. When it is warm it is good to be able to sit outside to dine. There is smoking in the rear room so it is advisable to book if you want to eat in the front room. Reasonable prices.

Whenever I am in the area, I always visit Mahlwerkk. They got really good coffee and tasty cakes. They also got salad, spreads, chocolate, pralines, tea etc. One of the best finds in Emmendingen

Great restaurant/bar with a varied menu reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the schnitzel and the rosti.

Sitting outside in street, next to the Fountain and by the stream, gives an automatic dolce vita feeling. On sunny days and evenings it is usually full, so a reservation is a good idea. The Pissa tend to overfill the large plate with a tasty thin crispy dough and a gernerous filling, and not overloaded with cheese. This is not a place to come to for a rushed meal, both lunch and evening takes time allow 90minutes.

We have ben here for a business lunch and also for brunch. There is always a peaceful atmosphere supported by a varied miday menu and pleasant staff. At lunch time the mini desserts are wonderful, just enough to be able to enjoy the taste without being overloaded

Visited this Greek Restaurant on the 25.09.2016 with friends living in the vicinity.
The restaurant seems to be well patronised by locals.
The welcome was warm , and friendly, presumably because my friends are regular guests.
The menu card was very elaborate , with various well known Greek dishes .
The four of us ordered four different dishes , and they were very tasty and filling.
Portions are very large , so if you are really hungry you get your monies worth.
Please note that they do not accept and international credit cards such as Visa , Master or American Express, so please make sure you have ready cash.
You can have a good meal for around EUR 20.00 per person .
The restaurant is fairly large , but I suggest you make a reservation if you want to have a meal with them at the weekend.
