Ate here at the recommendation of our hotel's concierge. A great recommendation!
We ate three different types of Risotto (lemon shrimp, tomato shrimp and truffles). All three were absolutely incredible (the consensus was that the tomato shrimp was the best).
Starters were good and so were desserts but the Risottos were definitely in a separate league.
Service was excellent although a bit slow (apparently they cook everything fresh so it takes time).
Totally worth the price. Go!

Nice local food, friendly staff, good selection of wines. As an addition very cozy and with a nice touch. Price range in the evening is o.k.; somewhere between mid-range and fine dining experience. Certainly a place to revisit next time being in Lausanne.

Restaurant de l’Hotel de Ville Crissier

Welcome to Hotel de Ville de Crissier restaurant official page ! Elected best restaurant of the world in 2016 - The List. 19/20 Gault Millau. 3 Michelin Stars.

I first read of the skill and wonders of Chef Fredy Girardet in Crissier over forty years ago, whist residing in San Francisco. Since then, the efforts of Fredy and his two successors, Philippe Rochat and Benoit Violier have been etched in gastronomic stone.
Three consecutive chefs to achieve Michelin 3 star status at the same restaurant is a goal probably never to be attained by any other eating establishment.
Forty years on and I finally made it to the mecca of French cuisine and despite the tragic departure of Benoit Violier, his protege and sous-chef, Franck Giovaninni, has more than filled his maestro's shoes. The food is simply divine but having had the opportunity to visit the kitchen, I was blown away by the silky smooth and unflustered work ethic, that was both present behind and in front of house. Prepare to remortgage the house before you visit the restaurant but its worth every penny!

Small menu focusing on salads and fresh vegetables but overall the meal we enjoyed was quite average. The starters were OK but the steak was somewhat tough with some stringy bits - not what we were expecting. The tarte tatin to finish the meal was OK but to be truthful nothing special. The restaurant was quite busy so obviously some clients were happy with the food. The level of service was fine but I doubt very much if we will be returning. Pricing is pretty fair but the steak was overpriced based on its quality and it was apparently sourced in South America. OK to summarise but really nothing special.

Anne-Sophie Pic au Beau-Rivage Palace

The Beau-Rivage Palace has placed Anne-Sophie Pic at the helm of the kitchens of its fine-dining restaurant. While continuing to preside over her restaurant in Valence (France), the three star Michelin chef has entrusted the realisation of her creations to Kevin Gatin. The restaurant has been awarded two stars in the Michelin guide and 18/20 in the Gault Millau.

Along with my partner we decided to try out our first 2-star Michelin restaurant in Switzerland for celebrating our first year together and couldn't be more satisfied of that choice.
We both had the 'Emotion' menus but of different kinds (Turbot and the other which unfortunately I don't recall the name... ).
The main surprise for me was the full table of fresh and aged cheeses. The staff did a fine job of explaining in which order they should be served and briefly describing the flavor of each.
To conclude this (very) short review, we were very impressed by the service, food and location. Certainly worth going back.

I recently booked this 1 start Michelin restaurant for a group of 9 and for a business dinner, using the online booking system. They came back rapidly in few hours offering two choices of group menus, we chose the signature menu (slightly less than CHF200 for a 5 dish menu). The choice for vegetarians and any specific requirements could be announced at the table, which is a big advantage when you book your table for a group.
I had a great feedback from our guest on both service and food. Definitely, the service is in line with the ranking of the hotel in which this restaurant is attached to.

Tradtional but tasteful cuisine. As said in other reviews, prices are a little high, but qulity and service is always here! At lunch time, you can choose today's special which is always reasably priced.
In the restaurant, you can get a full menu, with a home selection of wine by the glass for every dish you have, which is always a great selection of wine. A real nice choice to discover a wide range of wine, always from the region! We are near from la Côte, where you can find amazing white wines!
The tenants are local people, and you really feel at home, welcomed.
The Landlady has a wonderful "vaudois" accent, from which you know that she is from the region. I've never been disppointed by the food. They have on the menu beef tongue, which is not always easy to find. Perch filets are either from the lake (Geneva's) or from somewhere else, but you can choose if you want them from the lake or from somewhere else.
From the desert menu, I recommend the chocolate mousse duo.
In autumn, the venison is really worth a visit!
Hope to see you there!
Plenty of free parking possibilities around the auberge, but don't forget your blue disk!

Two couples, including one Italian (handy for translations!) and three Brits - Saturday evening meal - superb atmosphere, superb food and wine.
It's a warm, comfortable place with the most friendly, informative, helpful and talkative (in Italian) waiter and wine waiter. There's a noticeable Italian atmosphere and a passion for quality food. The size of some of the steaks on nearby tables had to be seen to be believed!
Minor grumblets - the service was initially a little slow and we found parking impossible until one of our party nipped into the restaurant, as we drove round, and came back with an easy solution - the private parking space of another business that wasn't open in the evening....easy, and within 70 metres!
It's obviously a very popular place and was still lively and noisy at 11pm when we left. It's not cheap - in fact it's comfortably expensive but in line with the quality of the menu. One recommendation - reserve a table.

Have decided last night to have dinner out and chose this place from TripAdvisor.
Must admit we have chosen it based on ratings and the owners name. Romanian!!!
We were looking forward to seeing what Romanians can do and be proud!
Couldn't have been prouder!
The food is amazing! Best I had in a long time in Lausanne. Service was nice and very personal. Even though we speak French she has explained the menu in Romanian. We found that super nice!
The place is super small and looked like all the people there were very loyal customers. They looked like they all knew each other.
Definetely coming back again!

Typical village restaurant. I've never been disappointed there, but in the hunting season it's a real treat.
The order for the whole table is presented on a big platter and they serve you two helpings. The spätzli (traditional fried egg noodles, often served with venison) are the best I have had anywhere, the other trimmings all very good and the meat very tasty and perfectly grilled. The deer tortelloni were also delicious and clearly hand-made.
For a quick meal, this is not the place. Take the time, you'll enjoy it.
