It starts with a personal call from Anita De L'Ange (she and her husband/cook Peter own & run Carpe Diem) to confirm your reservation and that she is looking forward to welcoming you to the restaurant. The restaurant is located in a beautifully renovated 18th century warehouse and located opposite the Cathedral in Cuijk. Dining room and Terrace are located on 1st floor and provide spectacular views. The menu changes regularly and Peter prepares wonderful creative dishes with surprising flavor matchings. The quality of the food is outstanding and best option is to request a wine arrangement with your meal - you will not be disappointed. Anita & Peter and their staff are very friendly and you are guaranteed to have a great night out. Once you been there you keep coming back!!

We parked our car on the parking of the restaurant and we started from there for a walk in the surprising forest. After a walk of 1.5 hour we relaxed outside and enjoyed our pancake with powder sucker and apples.

A wet miserable day outside, but inside we were made very welcome. Service good, food we tasted was fine, the ambiance perfect. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The lady who served us spoke perfect English to us; she was helpful. Food presented was good and tasty too.

Na ruim een jaar niet geweest te zijn ivm
slechte bediening (logistiek klopte er niets van) vandaag toch maar weer eens geprobeerd. En het moet gezegd worden: vandaag klopte het prima. Eten was nog altijd goed (dat was het probleem niet) maar de bediening was nu ook op orde. Juiste tempo en voor iedereen tegelijkertijd. Jammer blijft het wel dat de inrichting niet meer past bij een oude varkensstal. Het is nu een combi van rustiek en modern.

This restaurant delivers quality food and generous portions. I had the breakfast/brunch buffet and was pleasantly surprised by the good coffee, fresh orange juice, croissants, smoked salmon, eggs-to-order, and aged cheese.
The Seating is well laid out and comfortable. Nice place to enjoy a breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We visited this restaurant at the end of the asperges time. We ate the Queen of the vegetables outside during sunset. The atmosphere is great and the ambiance and the location are one of the best you can find in The Netherlands. The food is fresh and tasty. don't forget to ask for a draft beer, they have a special one, it is from a brewery close to the restaurant. It is a beer in between a regular and white beer, very good.

Was very impressed by the order and pay at the touch screens as you enter then await your number to be called to collect your meal. Restuarant was very clean Bitterballen. Well worth a visit.

After a nice walk through the forrest of Molenhoek we decided to drive to Plasmolen and see whether Clevers Ice Saloon already opened its door. And yes they were open! We choose a table on the Terrace in the sun shine! We ordered coupe Punaise and hot chocolade drink. The coupe Punaise was fantastic good, a combination of various kinds of nut ice creams, chocolade ice cream, whipped cream, waffles, etc., perfect and delicious. 5/5+! The hot chocolade drink was also nice, 4/5. We really enjoyed the time we spent here, in addition to the high quality of the food, the service is also 5/5.

Took the family out in Cuijk and I feel this is one great place to have lunch. The food is great and it's a nice place to sit chat, lounge around or read a paper. Service is friendly and if English like us the staff are will to help with orders or explaining the great Dutch food. I will be back that's for sure.
