Trent Park

This is a beautiful park just inside the m25.
Unfortunately it has been spoilt by the unnecessary addition of go ape and the decision to build a large housing development.
The animal sanctuary cafe is worth going to. It also helps pay for the care of our wildlife, that has been hurt or is sick.

Myddelton House Gardens

An enchanting place to visit at any time of year. Delve into the beautiful eight acres of Myddelton House Gardens and discover the compelling story of Edward Augustus Bowles, one of Britain’s most famous self-taught gardeners, artists and expert botanists.

Lovely traditional English garden
Beautiful walks through lovely trees and shrubs
Lovely well maintained walled garden
Overall a very nice place to visit to observe and chill out
It’s free To visit the Gardens, however the car park operates a Pay and Display £2.50 all day Good value
The site offers a cafe area, but I’m unable to make a comment as I didn’t visit the cafe
Yes, I would highly recommend a visit
My other comment would be that the footpaths around the garden are suitable for disabled persons

It's been my favourite place since I was a child, many treasured memories were made here with my grandparents and I always walk my dog here too. Feed the ducks, visit the rose Gardens, play hide and seek, and They've added an adventure playground also.

Parkside Farm

Reviewed By Angela B

I came today with my 4 yr old daughter and my mum. My daughter loved every minute, including getting a bit muddy. .
Very reasonable price for fruit and vegetables.
My daughter and mum are currently making apple and blackberry tarts with our pickings!
The staff were lovely and polite. And very helpful. Including taking a few moments to chat with my daughter about what she was going to do with her strawberries and blackberries.
Fantastic morning!

Whitewebbs Museum of Transport

Reviewed By Sarah T - Mere, United Kingdom

This is a quirky little museum that is great f you like cars, model trains and fire engines. They are open Tuesday and the last Sunday of the month and then at certain other times as per their website. It is currently £4 to get in with kids free so its a good place to spend a morning. My 4 year old loves the model railway which is housed in an old train carriage. The whole thing is in an old pumping station and if you are very lucky you can go downstairs to see the original well which is housed under the building. Its 200 feet deep and amazing! Its a basic no frills sort of museum run by enthusiasts so don't be expecting rides for the kids and Disney style entertainment but it is worth a visit with kids.

Broomfield Park

From an enclosed kids' playground, football pitch, netball & tennis courts, tea shop, ponds, wildlife and open spaces, to one of the best views of London, this park has it all.
When Spring takes hold and the weather improves, this is an amazing place to while away a few hours.
The only negative is the (once) beautiful manor house which has suffered a couple of fires over the years and has not been restored.

St Andrews C Of E Church

Reviewed By Abbotsbury92 - Chevy Chase, Maryland

On holiday in London I took an excursion on a sunny July day up to Enfield Town to spend a couple hours walking around the centre. St. Andrew's church is pretty, both on the exterior and inside, and is worth spending a bit of time enjoying. Afterward, I strolled around behind it and followed Holly Walk around to Gentleman's Row, a street of lovely Victorian cottages along the New River. I stumbled on The Crown & Horseshoes pub, where i enjoyed lunch. Al in all, a lovely three hour visit to Enfield.
