Located inside a marina, the restaurant has a nice view of the ocean in between of wonderful boats. Many seafood options at a fair price for the region. Good quality beer and drinks and appetizers. It may be a restaurant or a bar, depends on what you wish. You have to have a car to get there or pay a good money for a taxi.

Looks like paradise, and has taste of it too.
Impressive new modern big cuisine was first thing I´ve noticed as soon as entered. Hard to find a beautiful industrial kitchen like that on an island.
The fishfood is very fresh and tasteful, service a little lazy, but ok. Nobody uses to be in a hurry at a place like this.
The restaurant has it´s own marina, at Gipoia Island, Angra dos Reis. They have a Lodge "pousada" attached I had not visited.
Prices I thought first a little high, but the size of the portions were fantastic. (see the pictures)
Sure will come back.

We were looking for a place to have dinner. Used TripAdvisor to find this place.. Nice quite neighborhood, nice place.. the service was great, very helpful waiters who didn't try to push food our way and they recommended good choices on meals.. we had the fish grill and it was good, the fish tasted great and the rice was fantastic.. I don't think there are many other better options, hence I recommend this place in Angra.i don't believe there is anyplace better from what I saw in the mall and surrounding Neighborhoods...

Angra dos Reis has hundreds of Islands, but few, very few, have a restaurant where to stop by with a boat to have lunch.
Canto das Canos is a big barefoot on the beach restaurant, with a wide selection os fresh seafood.
The fish plate we ate , nevertheless not sofisticate, was very good.
A nice spot to stop by when boat sailing in the area.

Very charming and tasty bistro, inside the hotel, but open to the general public from 8am to 10pm.
Evelyn, the enchanting, very active Argentinian owner and main cook is indeed very skilled, achieving her Chef's graduation in Europe - specially in France, and in South America. The menu is very complete, with something ideal to everybody - fish, meat, pasta, salads - just chose.
And the location is very, very beautiful, offering the choice to sit inside, with air conditioning, or outside, close to the beautiful swimming pool or with the spectacular view of the navigation channel.
But...don't eat too much and save some space, 'cause desserts are the real expertise of Evelyn, a myriad of choices mixing fruits, chocolates, ice creams...yammy!

Coqueiro Verde

Reviewed By PandU-Sweden - Malmo, Sweden

Expensive and exclusive - especially if you arrive at night - great setting for a James Bond film. Intriguing layout in tropical Gardens and appealing rustic chalets with a jungle background. Strong smell of cleaning products when we entered our chalet - which always means warning signals!! Sure enough, during the night(s) there were strange scratching noises in the roof and high-pitched. screeching noises - from BATS. The following night when we arrived late we actually found “bat poo” on a bed and the chalet didn’t smell good at all. (The cockroach in the bathroom didn’t make us any happier either). The staff were professional, including the kind boatsmen that took us to and fro to our yacht. The choice of breakfast was ordered according to a verbal standard menu - everything was fresh, no complaints there. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant so we can’t comment on the food or the service.
