I visited in business lunch, they have inside with very large buffet, and terrasse outside A la Carte, I had the 2nd option, food was timed correctly, nice variety, mostly imported food but prepared well.
Too many Portuguese wines for my taste in the wine list, but history if Angola and Portugal are very close.
Bill came at around 250 us$ for 3 people, which is correct for Luanda

Once upon a time Cais de Quatro was the place to be in Luanda, however their service has declined and it's not what it used to be. The view is undoubtably beautiful but they take long to serve the food and it's imperative that they train their staff better.

Really always enjoyed the fantastic service and quality of food. Although very expensive, this is really a top notch restaurant. Though the last few times I've gone it's been closed. I wonder if it's permanent?

The setting is number one here. Right on the beach. The food is a very close second. Everything I had was very tasty and huge portions. Don't order a starter unless it will be shared among a few people. They were just as big as the entrees which were massive! You won't leave here hungry that is for sure!

Much to my horror as a seasoned traveller I was overwhelmed by the seafood bonanza offered right before being seated... as a result the poor 6 of us ended up with a bill of well over 1.000 Greenbacks. Nothing can justify. Very sad to have not been born to the Onassis family...

If you are looking for the Euro-Angola experience then this is a good choice. Filled with expats entertaining locals and those afraid of downtown Luanda this is reasonable eatery. The shellfish and chicken are great as you wood expect but everything else is pretty average to poor. Prices are mind blowing but given this is Luanda where if you are an expat everything costs too much then a fair nite out.

Cafe Del Mar is a beautiful place. The menu is varied and international in style, however it can be inconsistent in its quality. Service can be slow.Thank you dear Ann, please let us know the specifics of your experience in order to have a chance to improve our services.

Nikki's House, Luanda
We, a five member group were there on a Friday night for Dinner…Was booked in advance to avoid the complications in getting the table. restaurant located in Alvalade. From its outside doesn’t look like a restaurant. Need to press the calling bell to open the main door. It’s a small house modified into a restaurant. few couches are available at the front and back side. Very nice interior. very good place for a private conversation or for a business dinner. On the upside a small library is available for the book lovers/readers.
Their menu is very small and simple with cocktails and fusion food.
We had some non alcoholic cocktails and fresh mixed fruit juice (Sumo tropical)..in juice we asked them to add ginger as well…that was fantastic.
For starter we had Camarao ao Alho (prawns with Garlic ), Choquinhos de Terra (Lula in sweet sauce ) and Salda de frango com Quinoa(chicken salad with kinoa). all were very good.
Main dish – Grilled Garoupa, Salmon and Coxa de frango. Salmon was exceptionally good…
Dessert, we tried, Peti gateu, Mosso de Maracuja and Crème Brulle com gengibre. only Crème brulle com gengibre was good…rest were average.
All dishes got a very fancy names..Presentation was Good…service was very good. Portions were too small…reasonable priced compared to the quality and quantity.
Much recommended for a dinner… No parking available…better to have a driver.

This is my go to place for excellent grilled fish. Especially the grouper is world class. Try the prawns, octopus and even some of the meats. Big wooden tables that you sometimes have to share with others which keeps it convivial.
