There are not much options for food in Santiago, so this place is a great choice to try guatemalan food. It's a very simple cafeteria and the owner is the main chef and looks like she puts her heart in every meal. Again not fancy but clean and tasty!

Nous avons pris le menu du jour qui offre :Un excellent bouillon.Puis le choix entre poisson frit ou à la plancha, poulet à la plancha, viande rouge à la plancha.Comme nous y sommes allés 2 soirs de suite nous avons goûté tous les choix proposés avec autant de bonheur.Je vous le recommande pour le menu du jour qui est bon avec des produits de qualité à un prix raisonnable pour la ville.

It is a coffee shop located at the first floor of a five story narrow peculiar building in Santiago Atitlán. Here you can enjoy a hot, cold coffee and other varieties of beverages, as well as breakfast or a casual meal as a hamburger or sandwich type of food. The shop has a special and unique deocration, with many colors and a bohemian style, that attracts tourists. I did not find it to be an extraordinary place, but it's fine if you want to spend some time in Santiago. Good coffee. Good prices.

We were looking for lunch and didn't want to join the crowds at El Pescador so we kept looking til we found this little coffee shop. We ordered chicken wraps which were delicious (crispy grilled chicken pieces, a wonderful lemony guacamole and veggies in a grilled flour tortilla.) We finished off with really tasty crepes, all for very reasonable prices. I definitely recommend it.

à capaz de ser o primeiro restaurante quando se sai do embarcadouro. Cuidado com os vendedores ambulantes que nos acompanham até ao restaurante. Os preços são altos e altamente negociáveis.O restaurante é porreiro. As bebidas bem feitas. Dos 4 pratos que pedimos, os dois de peixe estavam muito bons mas as esperadas de camarão com alho de alho não pareciam ter muito e a casca bem colada à carne.

The atmosphere is so welcoming in this lovely little family owned restaurant just up the hill from the shore of Lake Atitlán, and the food is excellent. It's situated on the corner of the market street, so after a delicious, traditional Guatemalan meal and the coffee... oh, the coffee... you can take a stroll among countless charming little tiendas looking for artisanal wares. The owners, Don Samuel and Doña Thelma, are some of the warmest people I met during my visit to Guatemala, and I can't wait to go back. If you get there before I do, say hello for me and try the pepián.

In the small and chaotic but charming small town of Santiago Atitlan, on the shores of Lake Atitlan was this excellent restaurant.Service was rather slow because of a big group but the food was very good.The whole place is clean and modern compared to the town.

Walking into JunchiKpe you immediately feel comfortable with the welcoming, helpful staff! Furthermore, their coffee is the best in Santiago, and it helps small producers. The staff explained their trading process to me, and it's as 'direct' as trade gets. Definitely worth the trip over if you are in/ around Santiago!
