Find out what Grill restaurants to try in Bonn. Though probably best known as the capital of West Germany from 1949 to 1990 (and of reunified Germany until 1999), Bonn actually has a history dating back to the 1st century BC. Roman soldiers were stationed here and the largest known Roman fort was built at Bonn. In medieval times, the town gained prominence when the Archbishop of Cologne transferred his seat to Bonn. The city's most famous son is Ludwig van Beethoven, born in 1770 at Bonngasse, where a museum now honors him.

Burgermanufaktur is one of those restaurants where you'll know if you'll like it immediately after stepping into the building. The smell from the high quality ingredients is alluring and suggests what you can expect. The staff are kind, patient, and super-friendly, making for a welcoming atmosphere. And the burgers? Excellent. Incidentally, if you order a "side order" of the chili cheese fries, then you can skip the burger altogether. The portion is a meal all by itself. Peak times are pretty packed. Lunch and dinners will be tough to get a seat. You may have wait. Each time that I visit Bonn, I make a point of visiting. It's worth it.

The restaurant offer good US steaks on the hot stone. Make surety try the steakhouse salad, but order it chopped. It is excellent. All meats coney with three sauces. My favourite is the horseradish sauce.Unfortunately our waiter was totally incompetent. With better service the place would definitely be a solid 4 star.

Went in one evening, looking for something different. There are many restaurants, cafes along Clemens August Str.This one is a full experience in terms of decor. It is a little OTT.The food is OK. It can get busy which it was when we were there which made it nicer than it otherwise would be.
