Wiesloch (German: [ˈviːslɔx], locally [ˈvɪslɔx]), is a city in Germany, in northern Baden-Württemberg. It is situated 13 kilometres south of Heidelberg. After Weinheim, Sinsheim and Leimen it is the fourth largest city of the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis and is in the north-central area near Heidelberg with its neighbouring town Walldorf with which it shares Wiesloch-Walldorf station. Also in the vicinity of Wiesloch are the cities and towns of Dielheim, Malsch (bei Wiesloch), Mühlhausen, Rauenberg and Sankt Leon-Rot.

I would never miss visiting this little gem in the middle of the forest between Sandhausen and Walldorf when I am in the area. Guess it is the club restaurant for the gun club there and has plenty of outdoor seating in the summer, a heated patio and of course excellent food.Highly recommended `the Schützenspiess` a pork tenderloin skewer with feta cheese on top, grilled to perfection, fries, rice and an awesome salad on the side.Kids can run around outside and if I recall correctly they also provide a swing and some playground equipment there. Love this place!

Das Restaurant hat ein nettes Ambiente. Man kann drinnen und drauÃen sitzen. Das Personal ist nett und aufmerksam. Die Karte hat einen guten Umfang an deutschen und griechischen Speisen. Die Preise sind günstig. Es gibt Kinder und Senioren Teller. Die Portionen waren schnell da, sehr groà und haben unserer groÃen Gruppe alle sehr lecker geschmeckt. Ich hatte einen Seniorenteller und war danach gut satt. Auch weit nach 22:00 Uhr haben wir hier mit unserer groÃen Gruppe sämtliche bestellten Speisen bekommen können, das ist auch nicht selbstverständlich. Vor dem Lokal sind viele kostenfreie Parkplätze vorhanden. Mir hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Die teilweise sehr schlechten Bewertungen für dieses Lokal kann ich auf Grund dieser guten Erfahrung nicht nachvollziehen.

Die Qualität der zubereiteten Speise ist schwer zu bewerten. Manchmal ist man sehr zufrieden und manchmal ist die Zubereitung mangelhaft. Leider weià man nie was einem gerade erwartet, (Qualität und Geschmack). Das türkische Pächterehepaar kocht griechisch und bietet recht preiswerte Speisen an. Die Getränkepreise sind ebenfalls sehr moderat. Die Karte für ein so kleines Lokal ist übermäÃig groà und unnötig überladen, dadurch entstehen u.U. erhebliche Lieferengpässe bei der Bestellung. Trotzdem, will man einfach und preisgünstig essen ist man im Schützenhaus richtig aufgehoben. Leider nimmt es der Pächter nicht so genau mit den Ãffnungszeiten, wir sind schon einige Male vor verschlossener Tür gestanden!

We spent two nights in this hotel and were very satisfied (it's a bit difficult to find, so check the hotel website for the correct satnav directions.) We were given a very friendly reception and our room was very modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel is so new that it's not really quite finished yet, so the outside terrace isn't completed and our bedroom was lacking a few small things (hooks on the back of the bathroom door, for instance, and women will probably wish for a few more shelves, but guess that will all come in time). Apart from that there was an agreeable atmosphere, a free bottle of mineral water to greet us and free wi-fi that worked perfectly. The hotel is very near a main road so if you like to sleep with an open window, a room at the back is recommended. Breakfast was good, and if it's sunny you can eat on the terrace overlooking the lake. For an evening meal we can also recommend the hotel restaurant.

We had a company group dinner here and overall the place is classy, food is good and have good service and atmosphere in this Greek restaurant. Only problem is they do not have English menu and I had to rely on my colleague to help me translate the German menu. They served a complimentary drink that tastes like Vodka which is nice.Will come back again next time.

We have been here multiple times over the past months and we have been always more than satisfied for both the service and the food. Here you can eat fish, various types of meat, Greek food, etc. We tried different dishes and they were all delicious!!The personnel is also very kind and funny! Highly suggested restaurant.

This is exactly why I love tripadvisor so much. After a disappointing meal at the hotel restaurant the day before I wanted to make sure that my guys had proper food this time!So what do you do... you go on tripadvisor to check reviews. I optioned to go to this restaurant and immediately saw 4 pair of eyebrows frown. They boldly reminded me that my choice of restaurants this trip had a very bad start and if I wanted to keep my reputation as a 'connoisseur of good food' I'd better deliver with this one. ( they used a slightly different choice of words, but you get the idea ) On arrival we were greeted by the owner and he pointed us to a table, brought me menu and asked if the guys wanted a beer. He scored 10 points with that question and by the look on everyones faces the beer tasted well. For starters we had some plates of grilled peppers topped with chilli spices and garlic puree. and they were AMAZING !. the first 6 seconds your mouth if filled with an explosion of taste and then the heat comes. after you extinguish that with a zip of your drink, you want to do it all again. Next to this I had soup and garlic bread, both perfect as well ! As a main I had steak which was not the best steak ever, but very good nevertheless. Everything was served with more then enough side dishes and after I finished my ice cream, took the last zip of my drink and saw all the happy faces around me, I knew my reputation was saved.

My sister-in-law lives nearby and invites us to this restaurant when we visit her, which is at least twice a year. The food is always excellent and we've tried several of their meals. Recommend having reservations as it's always packed. Especially nice in summer when you can sit outside.
