I am not a gourmet at all.... But I enjoy food, very much, and nothing gives me more pleasure than sharing a true find, a gem that deserves everybody's attention.... If Alaçatı is your destination, Kydonia has to be your stop the very first night.... They are owned and operated by the same group who runs my most favorite resturant in Istanbul.... Great credits to begin with.... But the amazing dinner experience at Kydonia speaks for itself..... I am so proud that there are establishments out there who are aware of the notions that they are standing for.... Aegean cuisine at its best, to make things simpler, I'll attach photos of all the mezes (appetizers) we had at Kydonia, which I highly recommend.... Great service, great atmosphere, but most important of all...... great food.... simple and great.... What a night, what a feast.....

Wined and Dined at this establishment last week. The service with exceptionally good. We just wished the food was as good as the service. Everyone ordered something different from steaks, to pasta to organic chicken. The portions were small compared to normal Turkish servings. The food was good, but nothing fantastic and some dishes seemed to lack seasoning. The drinks seemed watered down. The wine list is extensive. Prices are high but not unusual for establishments of this type.

Located in trendy part of Alaçatı . Great Place to relax even just 10 meters only to main street .Loved the only one roof terrace sitting in Alaçatı! The young owners offering food with passion, nice selected wine's and variety of beers too . Pleasure to go back again!

The hotel which we stayed in recommended this place. Staff was kind and helpful enough. Mezzes were ok but nothing special that you could not find anywhere else in a rakı-mezze restaurant. We ordered fish (lagos) also but it was not much tasteful. We paid 350 TL for two people that includes rakı 35 cl.

Senelerdir Alaçatı ya sadece denize girmek için giderdim, çarşı çok kalabalık olduğu için girmezdim bile. Ama artık çarşıya uğramak için bir sebebimiz var. Alaçatı Çarşısinin içinde sessiz sakin yemek yiyip sohbet edebileceginiz bir mekan. Çok güzel dekore edilmiş yoldan geçen insanlar resim çekilmek için duruyorlar. İçerdeki bahçesi ayrı güzel. Yemeklere gelince, mezeler çok taze ve lezzetliydi. Özellikle Yoğurtlu Tahinli fas mezesine bayıldık. Guvecte deniz urunleri de cok lezzetliydi. Fiyatlar alacatiya göre normal. Bundan sonra her alacatiya gittiğimde muhakkak karaferya ya uğrayıp başka lezzetler deneyeceğim.

This was highlight of our visit to Alaçatı. Although one of the more expensive meals we’ve had in Turkey, it was well worth the splurge. The inviting atmosphere had delightful old world charm. Enzo made one of the best meals we have ever had. Thank for a memorable evening!
